Domestic Animal

The Meta-Trait

 [-30 points]
Disadvantages: Cannot Speak [-15]; Hidebound [-5]; Social Stigma (Valuable Property) [-10].
 Features: Taboo Trait (Fixed IQ)

Most Animals also be Dead Broke and have a Patron. A Domestic Animal might have a Duty, willing or unwilling, depending on their species and/or relationship with their particular Patron. For instance, a police dog probably has a duty to its handler, while an ordinary pet would not. Sense of Duty is, however, quite common with pet dogs and such forth. Particularly poorly behaved animals might have an Odious Personal Habit worth up to -5; anything more severe is effectively as bad as "Bestial", and likely to get any domesticated animal put down.

Disadvantages

 Cannot Speak

You can make vocal sounds (bark, growl, trill, etc., as appropriate) but your speech organs are incapable of language. [-15]

 Hidebound

It's difficult for you to come up with an original thought; you have a -2 penalty to any task that requires creativity or invention. [-5]

 Social Stigma (Valuable Property)

You're regarded by society as somebody's property rather than a legal person. This takes the form of limited freedom and/or a lack of intellectual respect, not a reaction penalty. I.e., People don't even regard you highly enough to react poorly. [-10]
