Musical Feats

Musical Feats are bardic feats that require the "bardic music" special ability, and which often take the form of additional bardic musical abilities that require at least one of the bards' "songs per day" in order to function. Most follow all the normal rules for bardic music, unless noted otherwise in the feat description.

Destroy Confidence [Musical]
Prerequisites: Bardic music ability, 3 or more ranks of a Perform skill
Benefit: A bard or other character with the Bardic Music ability who takes this feat gains an additional bard song that he may utilize against his opponents. This song is quick, erratic, and quite targeted in its embarrassing and demoralizing effects on the bards’ opponents. In order to be affected, the opponents must be able to hear the bards sing. The effect lasts for as long as the opponent hears the bard sing and for 5 rounds thereafter. An affected enemy suffers a –1 morale penalty to saving throws against charm and fear affects and a –1 morale penalty on attack and damage rolls.
Special: This feat is considered a bard song in every sense of the word. Its use requires the bard meet all the requirements of normal bardic music (see pg. 29 of the PHB). It uses up one of the bards songs per day.
