⚠
After our meeting with the prince at Saint Andrews Hall, in which he asked us to TRY to destroy the tapestry, we proceeded back to our cars and attempted to decide what to do... except for Randolph.

⚠
Randolph proceeded straight to his car by himself. There he came to find the jug of Nos blood missing. Looking about he sees a man in a grey duster. The duster leads him to an old abandoned hotel. The individual turns out to be Merrick (Slinger). He tells Randolph that destroying the tapestry would be bad, letting out what is inside. He claims that 8-9 years ago an old nos gave it to him to protect, that is how he knows. Randolph says that a simple warning is not enough reason for him to cross the princes reqeust. So Merrick decide to "show" Randolph. He places his hands upon Randoplph's head: Randolph sees the a bright orange light and sand all around him, in the distance fire can be seen shooting up, around randoplh he can see his own skin flaking off around him. The vision ends and Merrick is gone. Randolph is still not convinced by Merrick's show. But he chooses to call the rest of his coterie and let them know what happened. The jug of blood is still missing.

⚠
The rest of us ended up at the old factory area where we burned the fetus previously and brought the tapestry with us. This is where we spent much time debating how to destroy it or if we even should. We are at a consensus to destroy it when Randolph called Mai and said he had just followed and spoken to Slinger?/Merrick and that he said that destroying the tapestry would be a very bad thing. Mai asked Randolph to please join us, which he did and relayed this information to everyone, who all agreed that Slinger may not be of the best repute and that who knows what other people's motives are in either wanting the tapestry destroyed or not.

⚠
There were several options then presented for us to decide upon, assuming we DID plan to destroy the tapestry. We could unravel and scatter it. We could burn it. We could take Manfred to a warding circle JT knew about and have him to try to find out what types of magic were there, and if it was safer for us, we could do whatever we were going to try to do there. We could take the tapestry specifically to Usuri and ask for her opinion of what we should do.

⚠
Once we decided that we could ask for Usuri's opinion without taking the tapestry to her, that was one thing we could all agree on. We were about to vote on an order of business for these things, when there were objections voiced to VOTING at all because we vote too much.

⚠
We finally decided on contacting Usuri the next night, and going to Fort Detroit with Manfred the next night, and for the time being, storing the tapestry and finding a place to sleep. We went the vault, put the tapestry in with the face.

⚠
Manfred and Mai observe some interaction between the two, but decided that if both were in seperate drawers, they did not interact as much, though we should check on them the next night.

⚠
We left. Mai at this point pulled Randolph aside and asked for his help in getting her into the morgue. He suggested they not go there physically yet and first check medical records via a computer, using Randolph's extensive connections and knowledge of the medical communtiy of Detroit. We headed to a Fairfield Inn by Marriot (known internet connectivity there).

⚠
Jenny then received a call from JT (in the other vehicle) who informed her that he had received a call from the GRAND MASTER who was not happy and that he needed to go back to the vault to sleep with the tapestry.... which resulted in us all going back to the vault and deciding to spend the night there.

⚠
Upon arrival, Randolph and Mai set up in a cubicle to attempt to access the internet.

⚠
Jt, Manfred, Aiden, and Jenny go to the vault. Within the vault is Straus prying the drawer with the face open. The tapestry is soaked in gasoline and there is a container of gasoline under the table. Jt slams into Straus to knock him back and away from the drawer. Straus manages to retain his grip on the front of the drawer and it comes off in his hand. Manfred takes control with an attempt to calm Straus down. After admiting to straus that he incapacitated Marcellus, Straus calms down and says he is trying to destroy the tapestry. Manfred tries to get Straus to explain what is going on. Straus tries but to Manfred it appears that he is unable to speak.

⚠
Straus convinces Manfred he must show him since he cannot tell him. He opens the tapestry and immediately starts being drawn into it. Jenny moves forward and tries to help him but instead gets caught and is being drawn in aswell. Manfred At this point is no longer just observing begins to invoke his power when JT moves forward and bears his claws. Jenny more horrified of JT jumps into the tapestry. JT severs Strauses arm. Aiden who was puting the front of the draw back on to cover the face instead at this moment decides to throw the face to the tapestry. The face slids in jenny slides out, smoking with a mouthfull she spits into a buket. Straus screams and starts running. Manfred tosses an empowered stake to JT and says Straus isn't to get away. JT runns from the vault, while Manfred closes the tapestry.

⚠
Back in the offices after Windows 98 finished starting up, Mai and Randaolph heard a loud "NOOOOOO!" and then Mai got a call from Aiden who said there was trouble in the vault. We looked to the hallway where we saw everyone running from the vault.

⚠
But it's better than that. Here's exactly what we saw:

⚠
Aiden running and trying to talk on her cell phone.

⚠
Jenny running with burnt clothes falling off her.

⚠
Strauss running, screaming, and missing an entire arm.

⚠
JT running with a stake.

⚠
Randolph decides that Strauss is attacking Jenny so he body checks Strauss to the floor allowing J.T. to use a Stake of Vampire Slaying +1 (provided by Manfred) to subdue Strauss.

⚠
Mai proceeds to the vault, where via a strange time warp, misses Manfred, but finds Strauss there tied to a chair with computer cables, with a stake in his leg, finds one of the safe doors ripped off the cabinet, and sees the presence of the tapestry, but not the face.

⚠
Since there is blood all over, much cleaning is required. Mai uses celerity to try to finish ASAP so she can continue surfing the net. We go back to the computer, and our research ultimately ends up inconclusive. Mai then asks Randolph to take her to the morgue ASAP. She does not use dominate as that would be bad given that choice of words :)

⚠
Manfred moves over to Jenny and asks what happened. She tells him what she saw and what she spit into the bucket. Manfred Tests the vitae in the bucket and is able to determine that it is a malkavian, and it is injured horribly.

⚠
The party curls up to sleep in the cozy vault. Mai and the tapestry are sharing part of the room furthest from Strauss.

⚠
Manfred stays awake well after dawn, he puts a piece of paper on the draw to mark it closed. just as he is falling asleep a pop is heard, Manfred jolts awake to find nothing amiss. Once again he starts falling to sleep as the dead and the last thing before he loses conscoiusness is mist filtering in from the vault door, and realizing the poping sounds were the seals on the door.

⚠
-- ⚠
What Jenny Saw...

⚠
Jenny rushes to Straus side, and attempts to reach into the Tapestry and try to pull out what ever has Straus. She is instead grabbed by something, and wrestles against it pulling her in. JT bares his claws, and approaches Jenny and Straus. Jenny decides to take a risk, and find out just what, or who, is inside the Tapestry.

⚠
She finds herself susspended in mid-air by a long, black arm, which rapidly pulls her down into a desert, next to a darkened male, who is missing most of his face. It is very hard to see, its very bright, and parts of the man keep falling off, burning. He looks at Jenny, and says, "You are ready. But, not now. I have need for you yet" He then proceeds to push Jenny back up into the air, towards the tapestry. Jeny takes a "bite" into the mans arm, and suceeds to withdraw some of his Vitae; its very strange and rubbery. Just as she is thrown out from the Tapestry, she notices that some one had thrown the magical face parchment in, and a very loud "NOOOOOOOOO!!!!" comes from within. She then crawls over to the container the Tapestry was in, and spits out the Vitae she had in her mouth, telling Manfred, "You might want to look at this". As she begins to regain her wits, she realizes she is laying on a vault floor covered in Gasoline, and her clothes are smoldering. She hastily exits the vault...
