Geography

The entries here are organized by district, with a visual description and a bit of history followed
by their view in kindred eyes. Status is listed at the end to signify the official title, if any,
that has been bestowed on the location.

Barrens are deserted areas that carry no particular value or importance to kindred. They are
sometimes given to disfavored kindred as a false reward instead of a proper Fief or Holding.

Elysiums are the civil gathering places of the kindred. Anyone of the blood is officially welcome,
but is required to refrain from all manner of disturbances including violence, feeding, vandalism,
the carrying of weapons, the aggressive use of any disciplines or any other impolite display or
action except what is expressly proscribed by the Keeper of Elysium in attendance. If you have
any questions as to what is permitted, the Harpies will gladly explain it to you, loudly.

Fiefs are private domains where trespassers are forbidden and the owner has authority to
protect it with any means necessary short of killing the transgressors.

Havens are private residences of kindred and trespassers are forbidden.

Holdings are material assets of a kindred institution, usually a clan or other fraternal organization.
Visitors are expected to treat the hosts with respect and to avoid displays of violence, feeding
or disciplines.

Racks are considered public feeding grounds. The visitor is warned to be wary in such places,
for there are no rules other than the Traditions and the prince’s Praxis.

Underkingdom areas are the nominal domain of the Nosferatu and are to be kept secret from
the mortals. If you fall into disfavor with the sewer rats and then journey here, you are on
your own.

⚠ This is a really nice interactive map of Detroit ⚠ -- It takes a minute to load, but once loaded,
you can click on a category to the right like bars or parking or landmarks and it will highlight
them all on the map and show you which is which. Plus if you hover your mouse over the map
it will tell you street names. The downside is it's only a downtown map.
