The Blood Diease
Ugghh someone else gets to start this one.
Ok. It's very very bad and it's a Malkavian prank.
Ok, well that may be so, but here's a more basic run down of facts from the perspective of Mai:
I seem to recall it starting with the truckload of zombies that Shamis wanted Alexis Fairchilde to pick up, and Jenny Olson ate all the pink goo in the centrifuge and the zombies and got really really strong and scary.
We also discovered there were blood fights over this stuff in an arena like setting.
It seems there are two strains, one more synthetic and one more pure. It's my theory that the synthetic strain is a mixture of stuff that evil Malkavians have put together and that the pure strain is basically blood of Archimedes and his descendents.
Marcellus was using the bodies of people from eastern european countries. These are the blood type that is suspected to be Archemedies prefered food. It is likely then that these bodies were being used to maintain and work with archemedies blood. Marcellus claimed that he was maintaining the blood bonds that archemedies had made during his reign as prince of detroit.
It's coming to light now that possibly the synthetic strain is actually an innoculation to the pure strain, therefore curing kindred of the blood bond or making them unable to take any other bond because the synthetic strain also bonds them to something... (Mai thinks that something might be the one who should not be named).
A thought: Jenny Morgan was created by a "cult" who were "trying to bring down the prince" who at the time was Archimedes. Jenny Morgan is sought after by Marcellus who is working on the innoculation strain, which makes sense if the attempt was to innoculate people against the blood of Archimedes.
