Backgrounds
Allies *
Skyla and you have gotten along fairly well since you first arrived in Nulam. The two of you have cooperated on the occasional project, and work together quite well when your interests coincide. It's nice to have another Twilight to bounce ideas off of, as well.

Backing **
After your Exodus from Thorns, with the other Refugees from Thorns, you managed to make yourself heard by some important people in Nexus and Great Forks. While your words were not particularly elegant, still managed to earn yourself a bit of a name amongst some important people in the Confederation of Rivers. In fact, you quickly became one of the most well-known refugees in the Scavenger Lands, and often times had to speak for people you'd never before met in addition to the people that flocked around you for protection. While your position is somewhat unofficial, you effectively speak for Thorns (and against the Mask of Winters) at the Council of the Concordat and have some small amount of sway amongst the Confederation of Rivers.

Contacts (Concordat Council) *
You know a number of people in the Council, but Mehela Qiao Yin is the Councilor whom you have the most contact with. This representative from Lookshy might not be sure about your nature, but she doesn't worry about it too much, being much more concerned about your common enemy - the Mask of Winters. So long as you repay in kind, she's always interested in what you have to say.

Contacts (Thorns) *
It's hard to get information about what's going on in Thorns, these days. Thankfully, you have family there. The Wulfenbach line goes back centuries, and apparently left a few Ghosts despite the teachings of the local Immaculates, who have been sheltering some members of your family -- and, in fact, who helped you escape. Through a complex chain that you're still not sure you entirely understand, you intermittently get word from the Baron Wulfenbach, your great-great-great grandfather. In addition, some of your fellow refugees occasionally hear things, which they can pass onto you.

Followers *
While you once had many many more people looking to you for guidance and protection, since settling down in the Sarine Valley, only a few Thorns Refugees still call you master and friend. Most of these work in your small workshop (see Resources, below), for a regular wage. They include three hard laborers, a technician skilled enough to help you with technical matters, and a Savant skilled in numerous lores.

Influence *
Despite the fact that most of 'your people' have settled in various places in the Sarine Valley (mostly in the villages of Lumen and Verin) and Madaan, and no longer routinely answer to you on a day-to-day basis, you still hold a fair amount of their respect and gratitude. To them, you are not one of the Unclean, but instead a Child of Twilight and a Copper Spider. This gives you some amount of sway with them.

Manse **
You were first invited to the Riverwatch Spire soon after you first arrived in Marita. The Slyph's that resided there were curious about you, having not seen one of the Solar Exalted in the entire span of their lives, but having heard of your kind from the Gods. You managed to capture their interest with tales of Thorns and your own cheerful personality, and they invited you again on subsequent visits. The second time you came to Marita, to speak before the Council of the Concordat of your experiences in Thorns (so they'd have something to weigh against the words of Sweet Sorrow, the Moonshadow that the Mask of Winters had sent), you did the Slyphs a small favor and in return they allowed you to attune to the Spire and even gifted you with the Hearthstone.

Resources **
When you first fled from Thorns, you owned nothing. Since your Exodus, though, you've regained some wealth here and there. These days, you run a small smithy and workshop in the village of Nulam - it once belonged to the adopted father of one of your circle-mates, Jhord, but since his retirement you've since bought it from him and refurbished it for your own purposes. With all the work being done in the region, you do a brisk trade, and you're now better off than ever before. You own your own horse, eat well every night, and generally take care of yourself well.

Savant *
After you and Skyla first met, and put together the various First Age manuals and recordings and data sheets that you'd both collected, a wealth of information was discovered that's made you both quite skilled in matters of the First Age.

You can add your rating in this background to any Lore roll involving the History, Science and Magic of the First Age. In addition, you add its rating to your effective Lore, Occult and Craft Abilities for the meeting Ability requirements to operate and maintain First Age artifacts.
