Butterfly Eyes Defense (page 173) has a Duration of Instant. This charm provides a limited Perfect Defense, which doesn't work against unexpected attacks but can handle unblockable and/or undodgeable attacks. It provides no defense against a Perfect Attack, however, automatically forfeiting any roll-off. This works via an Illusion effect, and can be resisted for the rest of the Scene with an expenditure of 4 Willpower. If the attacker has reason to suspect its unreal nature, lower the cost to 2 Willpower while out-and-out proof sets the cost to 1 Willpower.
