First Age Incarnation of Gilgamesh

Note, unlike in Dreams of the First Age, in New Beginnings Salina was a member of the Twilight Caste.

Salina

Facts of Note:

  • The third incarnation of her Solar Exaltation (making Gil the fourth incarnation), Salina's previous two incarnations are still unknown to Gil.
  • Killed in the initial ambush upon the Solar Exalted during the Calibration Feast, just prior to giving her speech. She must have been one of the first Solar's targeted by the attackers, and had only seconds to even realize what was happening before some weapon used by a Dragon-Blooded (!!!) ripped out her soul. She'd been caught entirely off-guard, and hadn't even noticed the poison disrupting her essence (except for a slight wobble as she stood, but by the time she noticed it the weapon had already been fired) and leaving her unable to use most of her Combos (which in turn prevented her from perfectly avoiding the Surprise attack).
  • She was devoted to utterly demolishing all forms of hierarchy, though Gil hasn't yet understood the roots of her motivation, which seemed to have something to do with the first incarnation of her Solar Essence. A devoted crusader, with a hundred causes, which often caused her to push her nose into the affairs of others and earned her more than a few enemies amongst the different Exalted.
  • The greatest of her crusades included such projects as the Salinian Working (which she sneaked into a more popular Deliberative bill as an easily ignorable rider using a high essence Linguistics charm, avoiding the attention of her enemies), the destruction of a popular social movement amongst the Solars called the Cauldronists (the exact nature of which, Gil is unsure of; her maneuvers again them - while subtle - were quite brutal in scope), and the Calibration Feast (a relatively small request, coming from her, that was widely adopted). She also accomplished many feats of sorcerous power and artifice that, while amazing to Gil, seemed routine to her.
