Character Description: Melinda is an absolutely heart-stopping gorgeous woman. From her slightly sandy blonde hair, to her dusky rose skin, everything about her speaks promises of sensuality and delight. She's fairly close in form to Sonja's litheness, but with a bit more exaggerated curves and bust. Her eyes are pools of deep and dark blue that men and women alike thirst to drown themselves in. Her hair is just past her shoulders, and her height just about half an inch shorter than Sonja's 5 foot 11.5 inches. Her legs are longer than you'd expect for her height, yet her arms a bit shorter, lending a bit of a youthful yet mature sexiness and drawing out a sense of defenselessness that encourages others to give her aid. She seems a few years older than Sonja, yet it only seems to bring out her beauty.

Seeming Blessing

The Fairest really are the Fairest of Them All, and the innate magic of their Seeming only emphasize this all the more. Melinda may spend Glamour to improve dice pools that include Presence, Manipulation and Persuasion, with each point spent increasing the dice pool by one die. Also, she suffers no unskilled penalty for using Social Skills in which she has no dots.

Kith Blessing

Melinda has the blessing of Seductive Fragrance. Her skin, hair and breath carries the aroma of unknown blossoms from places unseen, the promise of pleasures unknown. Her bouquet seduces and luls in equal measure. She gains the benefit of the 9 again rule on pools including Persuasion, Socialize and Subterfuge. Additionally, Flowers often blossom where Melinda has long stood (over the course of months; not seconds as they would in Faerie).

Seeming Curse

The Fairest share something with their Keepers, and can often be callous and unfeeling toward others, even vicious and prone to toy with others! Even those who love them. Melinda's inner balance suffers for this remnant of her Durance, and she suffers a -1 die penalty on any dice pools to avoid losing Clarity. It's somewhat easier for her to simply drift into fae madness without really noticing...

Striking Looks ****

You are exceptionally attractive by modern standards. Melinda gains a +2 modifier to all Presence or Manipulation rolls when attempting to use her looks to entertain, persuade, distract or deceive others. This bonus can also apply in other circumstances when it might be appropriate.

Token ***

Melinda received this beautiful standing dressing mirror from Sonja as an anniversary present of their beginning to date. It allows the one looking into it to gaze upon themselves dressed and made up (even with their hair done, dyed, or cut) just the way they imagine it. By stepping into the Mirror then, their reflection steps out to replace them with the currently chosen look. This provides three temporary social specialties based on the desired appearance. Sadly, there is a major drawback, in that the user has a -2 to Stealth rolls and others have a +1 to rolls to remember them. The catch is worse, as you come out subtly wrong. People think you are attempting to be an imposter of yourself as your birthmarks, wrinkles and the like are moved around. They will deal with you accordingly. Both penalties and bonuses last till the sun next rises.

Hollow **

Melinda has decided to invest some of her own hard earned time and effort into making the Hollow a bit more of a home away from home. This adds two dots to the Amenities of the Hollow.

Harvest **

Melinda has a network of Old Boyfriends, love-sick puppies and contacts amongst the local club scene that transfers into two extra dice to harvest Desire.

Enchanting Performance ****

Melinda's fae nature causes her to be an especially magnetic and compelling performer. She reduces all situational penalties to any Expression or Persuasion rolls used as part of a Performance by her Wyld, to a minimum of zero. She may additionally spend a point of Glamour to cause her performance to be particularly moving, giving it the rote quality and causing it to provoke a particular emotional resonance.
