Colapso Jade finds Autumn in an exercise room in Elora's Manse... where he is sparring against the corporeal forms of Wood Elementals. Why corporeal, if there is no need to materialize in Yu-Shan, you ask? Quite simple: so they are not killed when his foot goes through their ribcage, his hand goes through their trachea, and other such incidents. On another hand, he is singing!

Jade{A} rests her hand against the threshold of the door, watching him quietly. After the next verse completes, she speaks up. "Autumn, I'm sorry..." She looks like she has more to say, but can't figure out how to say any of it. "I didn't want to hurt you."
Autumn{x} finishes wrapping the scarf around the neck of one of the strawmen, and crushing it. The corporeal body falls, and a spirit appears over it, clutching its neck. Autumn points to the exit, looking at his sparring partners. "OUT." is all he says, and waits until they leave him and Jade alone.
Autumn{x} And when they do, he picks a towel, taking off his mask to dry the sweat.
Jade{A} walks into the room, taking the place of his recent and unfortunate sparring partners.
Autumn{x} "Sooo... Jade. Nice to meet you." He puts the mask in place again, "venus suited you better."
Jade{A} "I thought so too."
Autumn{x} "So."
Jade{A} sighs and looks down again. "So. I guess. I'm still here, because of you. I wanted you to know. If you want me to leave, I will."
Autumn{x} "No, no." He waves that away, "I never said that. But you are in trouble now."
Jade{A} "Exactly how much trouble?"
Autumn{x} "A world of trouble." He sighs "You see, this is why loving sucks. We worry too much. We make dumb mistakes."
Jade{A} "Life is masks, and truths, love and hate, and far too much blood."
Autumn{x} "Oh, yes. But love is something we use." the scarf writhes about, touching her collar, nudging her to him. "You saw what I did last night. How to use love. How to shatter hearts, how to move the world to how it should be. THAT is how we should use love."
Autumn{x} "And now she knows I have that in me."
Jade{A} "She?" She allows herself to be pulled closer, though her gaze is wary.
Autumn{x} "Cassandra."
Jade{A} "I thought she taught you how to do it."
Autumn{x} "She did. And she saw me trying to stop you. Because I was stupid. Because I was wary. Because I thought you were going away. Because I got worried. She knows I like you."
Jade{A} "So you think she'll use me against you?"
Autumn{x} "I think she will do something. I don't know what." His hand goes around her waist, his hand touches hers', and he begins to... dance, to a tune that is not there. "But only a fool would see such a glaring weakness and not do anything with it. Least, that is what she would say."
Jade{A} moves with him after a moment of surprise, trying to guess his next move, so as not to get herself stepped on. "Why does it have to be a weakness? Isn't half of your job creating love where it ought to be?"
Autumn{x} "That is what it says on the union manifesto, yes. Or something like it, at any rate."
Jade{A} "You have a union?"
Autumn{x} "Yep. But its politics are a bitch."
Jade{A} "I...can't even imagine." she says faintly.
Autumn{x} "I was trained in how to manipulate love, vee. I make people cheat on each other and love each other as a way to have the best offspring or to desestabilize a certain place. Or just to become such a great love we can add it to our portifolio." He sighs... "I don't know wether to love you or pity you that you still look at it as something so... special..."
Jade{A} "I was trained to kill. Swiftly, silently, with no remorse. I have killed the loved ones of my targets, to make them talk. I am not supposed to love. Cassandra is not the only one that would use love against us. But just because the threats are there, should we run away? Should we destroy it?
Autumn{x} "... no."
Autumn{x} "Damn you Solars. Why are things so simple for you? This must be why we killed you all. This idealism is contagious. We are not SUPPOSED to be so idealistic." He spins with her, then stops, pushing her even tigher against him. "It should not just come down to 'I will kill whoever tries to threaten us'."
Jade{A} leans her head on his shoulder, her breath warm on his neck, her arm around his shoulders. "Things are never simple." she smiles a little, "It keeps things exciting."
Autumn{x} "They are plenty simpler when you are around... but no less exciting." He smiles, holding her there, not making another movement... "You are going to stay with us."
Jade{A} "I will. I can't stay with you all the time, though. I have to go make sure my Circle doesn't do anything else stupid while I'm not around."
Autumn{x} "Ah. So they are kinda like us, then?"
Jade{A} laughs, "Kinda, yeah. Except they all seem to mainly go in the same direction."
Autumn{j} "Aws. How boring." He laughs with her... "As long as you are still mine..."
Autumn{j} "... and as long as you are still with me, vee. Go ahead."
Autumn{j} "See? Trust. This love thing is such a weird deal."
Jade{A} smiles and kisses him deeply. "It has its own rewards, don't you think?"
Autumn{j} kisses Jade back, making her feel the soft taste of serenity... "How can I deny that?"
Jade{A} glances around the room, notes that they are still alone, and adds with a mischevous grin, "Remember how I said I was sorry? I think I need to show you how very deeply sorry I am." >>>>>>>
