Elders

  • Abner Feston -- A 19th century businessman and trader who established domain over Charlotte when it was just rising to prominence.
    • Mr. Black -- Labor.
    • Mrs. Anne Lawrence -- Personal assistant who favors power suits.
    • Mr. Woodridge -- Driver.
    • The Bruiser -- An enforcer or security guard of some kind.
  • Connor Reed -- Discoverer of the first gold nugget that began the Carolina Gold Rush, he expanded his family mining business and used the fortune from that to invest, becoming a natural resources magnate.
    • Damien Chalmer -- Dorian's replacement as Reed's personal assistant and servant.
  • Dr. Taylor -- Irish immigrant, expert anthropologist and historian. She is heavily involved with non-profit educational foundations and the city's universities.
  • Bartholomew P. Cavendish III -- Immigrated from Britain several decades ago and settled in Charlotte, setting himself up as a major supporter of the Calvary Mega-Church. Imminently respectable. Terribly devout. Obviously superior.
    • Randy -- Personal assistant with a fetish for the Kiss.

Ancilla

  • Priscilla Walker -- Founder and owner of a well-reviewed and well-respected restaurant chain. In the 1920's, her establishments were fronts for speakeasies and bootlegging.
  • The Speculator -- An obsessive book-keeper and statistician with an uncanny knack for perfect investments that have a mathematically impossibly high return rate.
  • Joan Reichs -- Fictional crime writer and forensic expert who has published several best-selling novels.
  • Gifford -- A Zen Harley master and former NASCAR mechanic.
  • Jimmy -- Teen jock who spends most of his time hanging around clubs with a fake ID, or at high school sporting events.
  • Ms. Wilcox -- One of the senior research librarians at the UNCC Reference Library. Dour, serious and highly intelligent. Fond of Starbucks.
  • Hank -- Leading member of The Kings, one of the largest gangs in Charlotte.

  • Dorian Chambers -- Sam's Player Character

  • Kendra Delacroix -- Owner of an exotic curio shop in the trendy NoDa Arts District.
  • Aggie One-Feather -- Local artist who specializes in natural materials and upcycling.
  • Rogue Angel Seven -- A reclusive "specialist" introduced to Percy as his instructor in electromancy. RAS (Rahz) lives by herself, has circuit-board tattoos, wears vacuum-tube earrings, has dreads and only dresses in jeans and flannel. She lives in Simpsonville, South Carolina, about 2 hours south, and commutes up to teach Percy.

Others

  • Granny -- Supposed matriarch of a clan of redneck cannibal vampires living in the Appalachians.
  • Trucker Hat -- A supposedly dangerous figure that moves around the city in a battered old Ford pickup, but is never investigated by the Elders.
  • Officer Mendez -- One of the worst policemen to run into. Roberto Mendez is racist, sexist, corrupt and petty. He has yet to be indicted.
    • Candi -- A young woman who is somehow under Mendez's influence and has been engaging in prostitution.
  • Loud Fred -- Wandering vagabond who appears at various intersections and public spaces to shout slogans and gibberish before getting tired and walking away.
  • Wednesday Longstocking -- Red haired and dour, this young lady runs a bakery with an excellent reputation and a back room full of guns.
  • Diane -- The EMT girlfriend of Norbert Beauregard
  • Dr. Sanderson -- A female(?) doctor working at the abandoned Old Davis Hospital in Statesville, NC. She wears floor-length white dress, gloves, a red apron and a heavy-duty plastic haz-mat cowl with an opaque face shield and a synthesized speaker. No part of her body is visible. She oversaw Johnny's healing and regeneration after his werewolf attack and Frenzy.
    • Ted -- The weight-lifting nurse who works for Dr. Sanderson.

The Scooby-Doo Crew

  • Dana Blake -- Daughter of a very wealthy investment banker, she frequented psychics and tarot readers. Lives in the same fancy building as Percival. Killed while in the custody of Officer Mendez.
  • Rachel -- Appears to have been an alias of April O'Niell, which is also a false identity. Probably killed by a Frenzied Percy.
  • Fred Jones -- Former public defender who somehow got entangled with Officer Mendez and came out far the worse for it. Lives in an inherited house in Myers' Park. Currently in custody in a secure location.
  • Norbert Beauregard -- A local busker that went to a local festival and stumbled his way into the wrong tent. Was a werewolf. No fixed address, but often stays at the downtown homeless shelter. Killed at Reedy Creek Park.
  • Jason Myers -- An ex-Marine who is now a hard-core survivalist and apocalypse prepper. No known address. Freed from the custody of Officer Mendez and currently on the run.
  • Kenny Carter -- A former trucker, now fired from his job and on disability, confined to a wheelchair. Lives in west Charlotte. Currently in custody in a secure location.

  • BLANK -- BLANK
