Pledges

The Roadbuddy's Pledge

"We are preparing to set out on a journey, you and I, and I do want you with me. Yet. If you are to linger by my side, then you must let me open your eyes so you see the world as I do and gaze upon my true face. I'll protect your dreams, holding your soul in my arms at night lest you be shaken by the things you see, but you must swear to keep my secrets as you'd keep your own. The things you see are for us alone, and you'll tell no other, and my secret is yours too, and you'll tell no other. If you stand by this promise, then kiss me, and my hand will be steadier at the wheel and our journey all the more comfortable. A Lover's kiss will bind us for the cycle of a Moon; so if you hold no doubts press your body hot into mine, and let the taste of your tongue linger on mine own."

 Boons: Ensorcellment (+2, Vicky); Adroitness (+1, Lilly); Blessing (+1, Lilly).
 Sanction: Poisoning of Boon (-2, Vicky).
 Duration: Moon (+2)

• Vicky gains the ability to see past the Mask, so long as she keeps quiet as to Lilly's true nature and doesn't reveal any of the things she sees while ensorcelled to anyone other than Lilly. If she does, she'll find her new-found arrangement turned against her.
• Lilly gains access to Vicky's dreams, which she must protect, and she additionally gains +1d to driving rolls (driving a little safer), and has Resources 1 to apply toward gas, the occasional hotel room and little sundries.
• This pledge must be renewed every 28 days.
