Seeming Blessing - Arnie benefits from the 8 again rule when using Animal Ken, gets a free Specialty in Animal Ken regarding primates, and may spend one point of Glamour to add one die to his Presence or Composure pool.
Kith Blessing - The Steepscrambler kith makes Arnie a supernal climber, adding +3 to dice pools involving climbing and allowing him to ascend even wet glass, provided it can bear his weight.
Seeming Curse - Thanks to his time in Arcadia, Arnie's mind constantly bounces from one thought to the next, making it difficult for him to approach complex intellectual pursuits. He suffers a -4 dice untrained penalty to all Mental skills he is not proficient in and does not re-roll 10s when using a dice pool involving Intelligence.

Merits & Flaws

Resources 0 - Arnie fancies himself a modern day Kwai Chang Caine, wandering the earth doing good. As such, he tends to pick up odd jobs where he can and moves on when the mood takes him.
Kung Fu 2 - Some time spent in various temples in China taught Arnie the more practical aspects of Gong Fu, including observation of the Xibu Hou Quan, or Western Monkey Fist, style.
Weapon Finesse: Polearms - Years of practice have lead to a staff fighting style that focuses on precision and agility over brute strength.
Weaponry Dodge: Polearms - After a rather harrowing experience involving the Dragon Palace Pillar deflecting a bullet, Arnie has learned that sometimes an unbeatable defense is enough to defuse a situation.
Arcadian Metabolism - Due to his consumption of the fabled Peaches of Immortality while in Arcadia, the Monkey King's metabolism and anatomy are no longer quite human. He benefits from double the effect when eating goblin fruit that heals damage, and can even heal aggravated damage when consuming one, but his peculiar makeup requires the consumption of at least one goblin fruit per week, lest he take a level of bashing damage. This damage cannot be mitigated or removed without the consumption of another fruit. These biological changes also incur a -1 penalty to all Medicine rolls made by others to treat him.

Equipment and Stuff

Arnie carries the Dragon Palace Pillar (usually in toothpick form), a pocket knife, metal flask, and a military surplus duffel bag with his spare clothes and toiletries inside. It also contains worn copies of Windows for Dummies, the I Ching, The Art of War, and the Tao of Pooh. He wears stone-washed jeans, battered Converse sneakers, and a military surplus jacket when the weather calls for it. In the warmer months he often dons canvas shorts and flip flops.
