Contracts of Goblin Dreams

These Contracts are a subset of Goblin Contracts that are specifically focused on Onieromancy and all its aspects, and are secrets only known to particularly skilled at the arts of Dream Shaping or those that make deals with some of the Dream-related Vendors at various Goblin Markets. Indeed, some of these Contracts might very well be individual inventions created by members of the Autumn or other Courts. Though these Contracts are grouped together for ease of organization, they are not considered chained for purposes of purchasing them with experience points.

Gate of Thorn and Bone (•)

The changeling can, when sitting himself down to sleep, forge a connection with a random human he encountered sometime during the day. After an hour or so of tossing and turning, with a successful activation, the Onieromancer falls asleep and finds himself within the dreams of whomever the Contract selected for him. Some Onieromancers use this contract to keep a watch on the cities dreamers or simply for entertainment purposes. It's even possible to control the effects of this contract, if you carefully control your exposure to other people. Only individuals that the Changeling exchanged at least a few words with are considered valid targets for this contract, so by avoiding talking to anyone but your target for the rest of the day, you can ensure that the Gate leads you where you want it to that night. Usually, at least. While theoretically random, the Gate of Thorn and Bone seems to have a something of a sense of both magical sympathy and absurd humor. Sometimes it'll send you into the dreams of someone you only glanced across a room; sometimes that person is connected to you in some fashion, sometimes they're actually a Werewolf and other times they're infected with Dream Poison or prone to Prophetic Dreams. Also, the contract seems to definitely favor "exciting" or "weird" dreams over the more mundane and pedestrian fantasies.

Cost: 2 Glamour
Dice Pool: Wits + Wyrd
Action: Instant
Catch: The changeling spent at least an hour immersed in a large group of people he didn't know, getting involved in short exchanges with strangers and observing the interactions of the people around him.
Roll Results
Dramatic Failure: You don't make it to sleep at all, but suffer from Insomnia for the entire night. You can expect to accumulate some fatigue damage the next day, and do not regain any willpower for that's night sleep.
Failure: The only dreams you have are your own.
Success: You toss and turn for an hour, but end up going to sleep and entering the dreams of someone you met during the day. This is always an ordinary human and usually one who you exchanged at least one word with during the day. If anyone you interacted with today (who you don't know) has some connection to you that you're unknowing of, an interesting secret related to something that you're interested in, or is infected with Dream Poison, you're likely to visit that persons dreams.
Exceptional Success: The persons whose dreams you enter will be somewhat interesting, in whatever way, in a way directly relevant to your current life situation. Alternatively, you might have run into another supernatural critter during the day, and end up in its dreams.
