< Scavenger Lands | Hundred Kingdoms -- Sarine River Valley | Madaan | Budan Mar >
Named after the Eastern Provincial Tradeway, whose route is circuitous and travels through large swaths of the Hundred Kingdoms. Currently consists of the Sarine Valley and Madaan, with the Alliance's informal headquarters in the village of Nulam. While not an actual "member" of the Alliance, the Kingdom's of Budan and Mar are very good friends and are prospective members.
Nulam to Madaan, 90 miles, Elaborate House Relay
Merayen has set up a extensive and quite ingenious Horse Relay that connects Madaan and Nulam. This allows a rider to move between roughly 15 miles an hour, and thus takes a little over six hours to traverse the entire segment. While mostly restricted to official traffic, any of the Solars can get access to this system and Merayen in fact designed it to allow such without any gap in service. Due to the route taken, this also makes it possible to get to Ironguard (only 15 miles) in an hour, and Lumen (45 miles) in 3 hours.
Madaan to Budan, 210 miles.
Other than relatively open terrain and (at a minimum) decent roads. Due to the long distance of the journey, most trips have a -7% modifier to base movement rate for a combination of good roads and a lengthy journey that skirts various political borders and natural features. It thus takes one and a half weeks to make this trip on horseback, and a Caravan can manage in about three weeks. The Solars can shave several long hours off the trip, though, by skirting through dangerous terrain and punching right through the lands of Hilos or Terisia.
The route to reach Mar from Madaan, though different, is almost the same. Add a day or so to the assumed time.
Budan / Mar, 70 miles.
It's generally considered to take "five days march" to travel from Budan to Mar, or a little over two days on horseback.
