An Exalted Campaign
for the Solar Exalted
The prime setting for our tale of glory and rebirth is a place of conflict and war, boundaries ever shifting, nestled deep within lands once denigrated by the Scarlet Empress as "the Scavenger Lands". The Hundred Kingdoms are a rats nest of bandits, warlords, power hungry autocracies, oppressive gods, and tribes of barbaric hill-folk. Between these forces, struggling to survive, simple peasants toil in their endless labours to feed much of the East. The villagers of Nulam are of this sort, hard-working folk who seek mainly to survive from year to year and ship their produce down-river. Yet the future of the small village of Nulam is looking dire; between the Bright River Gang who roost downstream, the imperialistic ambitions of the City-State of Madaan and the rumblings of the local tribes the village seems doomed. Even more sinister are the rumors spreading throughout the region of "the Golden Warlord", who might just herald a danger to the entire Scavenger Lands.
