Larceny Charms

Ideal Theft Prana

Cost: 8 motes, 1 willpower; Mins: Larceny 5, Essence 4; Type: Simple (7,-1)
  Keywords: Combo-OK, Touch
  Duration: Indefinite
Prerequisite Charms: Stealing From Plain Sight Spirit

It can be decidedly impracticable to steal a given item, such as a two-ton statue of a Bull God that is under heavy guard. The Solar Exalted are up to the challenge, however, able to use this charm to make away with even the most unwieldy of items. The character needs only to Touch the item, which vanishes Elsewhere but remains loosely connected to the Solar via a thin strand of Essence. The magic of this charm is too powerful to directly hide the theft, so this disappearance is immediately obvious to anyone who was watching the item. Unless someone saw the character touch the item, however, there is nothing to directly link him to the disappearance. Close observation by those with the ability to perceive Essence, however, might be able to reveal the thin strand of Essence that links the character to the item. The character may retrieve the object at any time, which frees the committed essence.
This charm is limited to five tons at Essence 4. This limit increases to ten tons at Essence 5, twenty tons at Essence 6, and so on.

Mirror Charms

  • Vile Anathema Shroud (Mins: Larceny 4, Essence 3; Prerequisite Charms: Flawlessly Impenetrable Disguise; Abyssals, p. 171-172) allows the Solar to disguise himself as one of the Abyssal Exalted, altering her anima banner and caste mark accordingly.

Solar Charm Cascade Errata (Larceny)

  • Flawlessly Impenetrable Disguise (page 227) changes its duration to Indefinite.
  • Perfect Mirror (page 228) allows the Solar to spend an additional 1wp when activating the charm, to extend the duration to One Day.
