Level Four Arifact
Orichalcum Breastplate
Beauty. That is the first thing that comes to ones mind when one looks upon the Aegis' stylized design, lovingly crafted from orichalcum. The breastplate is thick and broad around the vitals, an intricate design visible on the chest in the shape of the Dawn Castemark. The shoulder guards attach quite easily, sliding into place with a light whine as the essence pulls the armor taut to avoid any chinks or weak points. Even the flared open face helm, with its understated Sun-motiff, attaches almost seamlessly to the rest of the armor. The gauntlets, leggings and boots aren't quite as perfectly fitted but still offer better protection than any mortal armor or even most armor used by the Exalted. And, ascetically, the entire suit is simply perfect.
Some seven centuries prior to the Usurpation, when it became necessary for Saeleris to acquire a new suit of armor, he decided to see to the crafting himself rather than trusting to Aeas or some other Twilight. That the result is so... perfect... speaks well to the man's skill.
Though still in exceedingly good condition, the last 3,000 years have not left the armor untouched. It's once vibrant colors have faded slightly, and the occasional colossal force has dimpled or even scratched the finish here and there. Ever since receiving the armor, Jackal has had dreams of the battles that it saw Saeleris through and the force that was required to leave any mark at all on its indestructible surface. A small dent against the breastplate was caused when Ligier, a Third Circle Demon whose furious fire would melt any lesser armor, struck Saeleris with a hammer -- a tiny imperfection on the back of the Breastplate was caused when one of the Malfaen buildings finally stopped Saeleris hurtling through the alien sky. A larger scratch along one of the leg-guards was gained deep under the world, in the Labryinth, while Saeleris was struggling to reach the surface of a Spectre-infested lake and a tentacled Hekatonkhire sought to pull him down. Other, equally momentous battles, seem to have left no mark on the armor at all.

This exceedingly potent armor is only reduced by 2/3rd's by Piercing type weapons, giving +8L/+10B soak in such situations. The wearer is also considered to have a pair of God-Kicking Boots and Smashfists while attuned to the armor. The suit has two hearthstone settings, located in the shoulder guards. It is obviously supernatural, however, and bears the mark of the Anathema on the breastplate. This armor is not subtle in any way.
The above statistics already include the Orichalcum bonuses. If not fully harmonized with the Orichalcum, reduce Soak to 11L/4B, and Hardness to 9L/9B.
