Elizabeth Noran moved to Boston in late '99 from Maine, from a small coastal town in the very north, having dreams of big city life and meeting many new & interesting people. She's finding Boston a bit colder than she'd like, but is willing to wait it out and let things develop on her own. Even with the unexpected difficulties, Elizabeth doesn't regret her decision and greatly enjoys life in boston -- even more so since she met Sonja.
Hardly a party-girl, Elizabeth none the less enjoys going to various exclusive clubs and private parties that Sonja is able to get into much more easily than she has. Even as her circle of friends broadens a bit, Sonja remains one of Elizabeths closest associations in the city.
Still, so far away from her old home town of Lubec, Elizabeth sometimes misses childhood friends (many of whom have also left into the world) and family (who mostly remain back home). She still makes sure to get back for Holidays and special occasions, and frequently writes her mother to keep in touch.
