Optional Contract Rules

The following are optional rules designed to interface with the existing contracts from the core rulebook, Winter Masques, or Rites of Spring.

Contracts of Hearth

Conditional Effects- When using Fickle Fate, Favored Fate, Beneficent Fate, or Fortuna's Cornucopia you can spend extra glamour to add a condition to the blessing. This ensures that the effect won't go off until a specific circumstance. A simple circumstance within a single scene, such as "whenever she first fires a gun," only costs 1 glamour. A more finely tuned condition within a single scene, such as "whenever he fires a gun at Mary," or "whenever she makes an Awareness roll to spot our Ambush," costs 2 glamour. You can also spend glamour to hang your conditions for longer than a single scene. An hour costs 1 glamour, and until the sun next rises or sets costs 2 glamour.
