The 'original' seven Changelings that emerged from the hedge during the Police Strike of 1919.
Reginald Beyers was a veteran of the Great War and the defacto leader of the Motley. An Ogre (Stonebones), Reginald pledged for the Winter Court and was reported MIA during the Normandy Invasion of WWII.
Ashley Morrigan was a black sheep preacher from one of Boston's irish families, and served as the spiritual center for the motley. A Fairest (Beckoning), Ashley pledged for the Autumn Court and vanished into the Hedge in 1927.
Lorraine was a time-displaced mother who found her family long gone and the heart of the Motley. A Fairest (Bright One), Lorraine pledged for the Spring Court and founded the Bishopric of Blackbirds in the city. She is the only surviving member of the group.
Regina was a prostitute from one of the seedier parts of the town, not entirely well liked by her fellows but trying to fit in. A Darkling (Palewraith), Regina originally pledged Winter Court before changing to Autumn later. She was killed by an unknown assailant in '51.
Swiftfoot Johnny was taken as a teenager and raised in Faerie, and was the motleys main contact between Boston and Providence. A Elemental (Airtouched), Johnny pledged for the Winter Court and ended up defecting from the Freehold in '33 and joining the William's Boys in Providence.
Ole' Farley went from 20 to 70 in Arcadia, returning only a few days after his abduction. A Wizened (Brewer), Farley pledged for the Winter Court and lived out the rest of his life as the owner of a small pub in South End. He passed away of old age in '39.
One member of the First Motley didn't actually join the Motley, instead leaving the city for parts unknown. Lorraine calls him John Cabbot, and says he was a Beast of the Windwing kith, but doesn't claim to know anything else about him.
