Daoine Industries Mark IV, Cybereye [45]

Daoine Industries, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sirius Incorporated, currently produces the most advanced cybernetic eye on the market -- the Mark IV. In addition to peerless visual performance and telescoping ability, the Mark IV extends the cyborgs vision across the infrared, visible and ultraviolet portion of the spectrum and is even sensitive enough to allow visual detection of microwave, radar and radio sources! The capability that has most of its competitors scrambling to catch up, however, is the Mark IV's penetrating ability which allows the cyborg to see through approximately six inches of all but nanocomposite materials with great density. The cybereye also contains the expected features such as protective membranes and auto-focal adjustment mechanisms to protection both the eye itself and the cyborgs vision as well as full support for all formats of neural video. The one flaw of the eye, considered a fair trade-off by many, is its obviously artificial nature.

Statistics: Accessory (Video Display) [1]; Acute Vision 5 (Temporary Disadvantage, Electrical, -20%) [8]; Hyperspectral Vision (Extended Low Band, +30% and Temporay Disadvantage, Electrical, -20%) [28]; Nictitating Membrane 2 [2]; Penetrating Vision 1 (Temporary Disadvantage, Electrical, -20% and Blockable, -30%) [5]; Protected Vision [5]; Telescoping Vision 3 (Temporary Disadvantages, Electrical, -20%) [12]; Unnatural Features [-1]; Blindness (Mitigator -70%) [-15].

Kerus Cybernetic's "Marathon"; Cybernetic Legs [60]

Kerus Cybernetics, a major cybernetic developer and primary cybernetics supplier for OGRE's Peacekeeping Force, introduced the Marathon almost 10 years ago. While no longer the state of the art, the design is solid and is probably the most widespread "pursuit augmentation" in the Pan-Orion Arm. Revolutionary for the time, the Marathon steps away from heavy augmentation and focuses on strong nanopolymers and enhanced genemod muscles grafted onto a lightweight skeletal structure. It focuses on speed and maneuverability. The system isn't as rugged as some of its competitors, but it outclasses conventional cybernetic leg systems for speed. The Marathon is also very efficient, giving a +2 to HT or Running rolls to avoid losing fatigue while running.

Statistics: Basic Move +5 (Temporary Disadvantages, Electrical, -20% and Maintenance, 1 person, weekly, -5%) [19]; Enhanced Move 2 (Temporary Disadvantages, Electrical, -20% and Maintenance, 1 person, weekly, -5%) [30]; Super Jump 2 (Takes Recharge, 5 seconds, -10%, Temporary Disadvantages, Electrical, -20% and Maintenance, 1 person, weekly, -5%) [13]; Endurance Runner [1]; Crippled Legs (Mitigator, -70%) [-3].
Availability: Two major procedures. Cr50,000. LC3.
