Caitlin Harken
9th generation Lasombra ductus
Appearance: A short and pretty blonde woman with large hazel eyes
and dressed in a stylish but durable gray blouse and skirt with
high heel boots.

Once the young wife of a New York stockbroker, Caitlin lost everything
when her husband leaped from the window of his office after the crash
of 1929. She probably would have followed him eventually if a war
party hadn’t decided to sleep in her apartment the day before a raid
on the Manhattan kindred. They made her one of them, and she slowly
rose to leadership of her pack through ability more so than through
pack attrition. No one tells her what to do or how to do it, and
that is the only way she knows how to exist.

Recently Caitlin’s pack played a key role in the siege of Newark,
New Jersey. She personally slew a Camarilla elder while her pack
mates mopped up his underlings. As a result the Archbishop
recruited Caitlin’s pack for the siege of Detroit, and has hinted
that a Bishop’s mantle may be in the offering if she succeeds as
well in this battle. The scouts have reported that a vile elder
has enslaved most of Detroit’s vampires with the blood bond, and
the thought of facing this monster chills her cool blood even more.
Caitlin feels honored but prays to Caine for the strength to meet
this challenge.

It is the night before the main attack and the Bishops and their
ducti have made their plans. Your pack has been given the honor
of bringing down the Prince himself. To do this, you will need to
send your pack mates in to slay or at least distract the Prince’s
guards, while you deal with him personally. The Prince’s secret
court is located in an underground chamber beneath Fort Detroit.
If you act quickly enough, you may be able to catch him there, but
then you would also have to deal with all the other Camarilla present.

The Prince will probably withdraw to a safer location once he learns
that Sabbat are striking the city. It may be necessary to hunt him down,
destroying any possible havens that he may be using for a hiding place.
Other packs will be distracting the mortals by lighting other fires and
causing general mayhem, so your actions should go largely unnoticed
by them.

Before an invasion, the Sabbat frequently makes use of spies to learn
about what the Camarilla’s strengths and weaknesses are in a target city.
One such spy that you have been working with is Terrence Aburto, a
Nosferatu neonate who has gained your trust. Because he may make a good
Sabbat or prove useful again if he is needed to spy on another city, you
listened when he hinted that he was afraid of what might happen to him
during the invasion. You have asked a ductus in another city to send
someone to transport Terrence to safety. Before he goes though, you need
to speak with him one last time and ask him what he knows about other
Camarilla neonates who may have information about the Prince’s likely
whereabouts.
