Back to Dexterity Charms or Revised Charms

I need a new base charm here.

Careful Hunters Strike

Cost: 2 motes per -1 soak reduction
  Duration: Instant
  Type: Supplemental
  Minimum Dexterity: 3
  Minimum Essence: 2
  Prerequisite Charms: (New Base Charm)

A Lunar with this charm understands that force is only part of the solution, and that a vital part of combat is the application of that force to where it will do the most damage. When using this charm, the exalt aims his strikes at the targets weak points. The character must activate this charm before he makes an attack, and if he hits he lowers the targets soak by 1 for every point spent activating this charm. This charm works as easily on natural soak as armor-based soak, but it cannot reduce an opponents soak below 0. This reduced soak only applies to the attack supplemented with this charm.

Subduing the Honored Foe

Cost: 1 mote per damage level
  Duration: Instant
  Type: Supplemental
  Minimum Dexterity: 4
  Minimum Essence: 2
  Prerequisite Charms: (New Base Charm)

The Lunar Exalted are well-known for their skill at combat, but it is not always the case that a Warrior of Luna wishes to slay his foes. A Lunar with this charm is especially good at cushioning his blows and aiming at non-vital areas, able to inflict incapictating blows that have little if any chance of permantly maiming or killing his opponent. A Lunar must use this charm prior to making a hand-to-hand attack, which if successful inflicts a number of additional bashing soak levels equal to the number of motes the Lunar spent activating this charm. This extra damage will not overflow into lethal damage, and is applied after damage for the attack has been rolled.

An attack supplemented with this charm almost always inflicts bashing damage, even if it would normally inflict lethal. If a Lunar botches a damage roll enhanced with this charm, however, he should reroll the damage pool again as lethal damage. The extra damage successes added with this charm are still bashing, but they can overflow into lethal damage normally.
