Orichalcum Reinforced Buff Jacket
The first thing one notices is the sleek black leather, cured and hardened, reinforced with thaumaturgy and strong charms until it almost rang when struck. Plus, it maintains a beautiful almost obsidian sheen. The interior is soft Bull Netch leather, from the oldest member of the Herd, the majestic animal brought down with the help of Merayen and with utmost care to avoid damaging the hide in any way. Even with access to Skyla's forge, it wasn't easy to refine and process enough Orichalcum and even then beating and working it into fine threads was a months labor in and of itself. The stitching and fine detail work took another month, and then there was the matter of the front plate. He tried to avoid it; too conspicuous. He and Skyla wasted almost a week trying to think of another way for the artifact to retain enough essence before giving up and working on a design that would work and hopefully not draw too much attention.
The beautifully etched dragon-design on the front of the Jacket was the best you could imagine; maybe it'll look vaguely Terrestrial.
All told, it took nearly two seasons of work -- and that's with charms, and the assistance of another Twilight who'd managed to assemble a masterful workshop. Though, wearing his new toy, Gil is forced to admit that it was two seasons well-spent. He just has to think of a better name for it than "my Jacket."

In addition to offering excellent protection, and being very stylish, Gil's Jacket is water-proof and excellent shelter in a storm. Just make sure the Collar's up and button the Jacket up, and at best, your hair will get a little wet and that's it. The artifact can also take a fantastic amount of damage, and only need very minor repairs afterward, making it excellent as a source of soft cover in the event of an explosion or material to wrap ones around yourself in the event you need to pass under an acid bath.
The above statistics already include the Orichalcum bonuses. If not fully harmonized with the Orichalcum, reduce Soak to 7L/10B, and Hardness to 5L/5B.
