  • Origin: The Bride In Red—Once, Indira was a maiden blessed with divine grace. She used her gifts to help her people, and was devoted to the gods. A prince saw her and coveted her powers, so he courted her and promised gifts for her people if she married him. She agreed, but he used their vows instead to trap her in a stone, which he used to steal her power for himself. (Close Combat, Empathy, Leadership)

  • Pantheon: Vengeance Without A Cause—The Prince died an ignoble death after wishing for one too many foolish things, but the stone passed on to his son, and his son after. They grew wiser with the power bestowed to them, and the kingdom prospered. However, they did not suspect conquerors from the West, come to burn the kingdom to ash and plunder its treasures. Now its name is long forgotten, and the stone passed on to a nobleman’s wife, who put it on the mantelpiece and forgot about it. (Subterfuge, Survival, Culture)

  • Calling: Scholar of Stolen Glory—After time, the stone found its way to the British Museum, where it stayed for some time. The Bride, powers slowly returned to her with no owner to wish them away, found she could listen to the tour guides and even leave her stone for a time to visit other exhibits and listen to their stories. Once, she appeared behind a curator handling her stone, who dropped it and shattered it in surprise—and the Bride was finally free. (Academics, Occult, Culture)
    • Group—Japanese Supernatural Community—Various people and supernatural associated with the Kami have accepted that Devika has been wrongfully poached by the Deva (or at least a cult dedicated to Vishnu, regardless of Vishnu’s feelings on the matter) and are determined to bring her back into the fold. They often watch or check up on her, but are trying not to overwhelm her.

Can be applied Legend+1 times (4). Can also undertake a Feat of Scale without spending legend (but that resolves this Condition).
