- Eye for an Eye: When you suffer an Injury, spend Momentum and inflict the same Injury on the target that attacked you. The target must have attacked you directly; you cannot reflect attacks that targeted someone else. If the target does not have the ability to take a similar Injury (having your arm bitten by a giant snake, for example), inflict an Injury of similar severity instead, such as a festering, envenomed bite mark. This also applies to Critical Hits inflicted.
- Warrior 3
- The Biggest Threat: When you make a show of force or intimidate your enemy, make a Knack Skill roll. On a success, the target must focus its efforts on dealing with you first, suffering +2 Difficulty to attack anyone else.
- Enhanced Impact: Whenever you successfully deal Injury with your Knack Skill, you also knock the target back one range band. This does not do any extra damage, but can put someone in a tight spot.
- :"Perfect Defense" Once per Fight, declare that an attack made against you by an enemy of the same Tier or lower does not affect you in any way. To do this a second time, spend Momentum. This may not be used more than twice a fight!
- Oni 2
- Innate Cruelty: Any weapon you use, including unarmed attacks, gains the Lethal tag. Spend Momentum to give your weapon attacks the Aggravated tag for one scene.
- ''Punish the Wicked" If you inflict an Injury Condition on another being, spend Momentum to add a second Injury Condition of the same or lesser level. The Condition resolves at the end of the scene.
Purviews (& Boons)
- Yaoyorozu-no-Kamigami: communion and propiation of the ten thousand kami in all things
- Innate Power: You can speak with the kami of objects and animals, allowing you to communicate and attempt to influence them (p. XX). They have Attitude 2 towards you by default. The kami of objects have a limited degree of agency, primarily taking unrolled actions to do things the object might have done anyway. Sweet talking the kami of a car could convince it to start without keys, but not to drive around by itself.
- Epic Stamina: unsurpassed vitality, endurance, and resilience...
- Innate Power: You are immune to poison and disease unless they come from a source whose Legend is equal or greater than yours, and never face Complications or risk death from hunger, thirst, or exhaustion.
- Epic Strength: the divine might of the Gods!
- Innate Power: You have +1 Scale for purposes of lifting, breaking, or carrying large objects. You can use Strength in place of Presence for intimidation, seduction, or building Bonds of camaraderie.
- World of Glass (imbue 1 legend, one scene): You are capable of tearing down walls, ripping up concrete, or rendering brick structures to powder in moments. Once per scene, you may make a Feat of Scale (p. XX) to enhance any Might-based action without having to pay a point of Legend.
- Frost: winter, snow/blizzards, and more symbolic associations with the cold as well...
- Innate Power: You never suffer harm from extreme cold, nor difficult terrain or Complications due to snow, hail, or ice. You may walk over water or even clouds, as it turns to solid ice underfoot long enough to support you.
- Flash Freeze (spend 1 legend, all enemies in one range band): You can drain away the heat of the world, icing over landscapes and freezing enemies from the inside out. Roll this as an attack using (highest Power Attribute) + Occult. It has the Bashing, Piercing, Ranged, and Shockwave tags. All water in the targeted range band is also instantly frozen solid. Ground becomes ice-slick difficult terrain (p. XX), as well as other environmental changes such as bodies of water freezing over or pipes bursting.
- Death: Divine Power over death and what comes after
- Innate Power: You can see and communicate with ghosts, shades, and other forms of the undead that are normally imperceptible or incomprehensible. (Plot hooks ahoy!). In addition, you can perveive entryways to the Underworld!c
- "Unquiet Dead:" You can cause a corpse to speak, or summon a person's ghost at their grave for one scene. It starts at attitude 3 and has all of the memories it had in life except for five minutes leading up to it's death! As long as you imbue legend into this boon the undeads answers provide Enhancement 3 on any applicable rolls, such as tracking down the person who killed them. It can only use it on the same undead once per session!
Motifs: The kami are all things, and can be bidden to work wonders.
Birthrights
Hyakki Kurabu, The Cudgel of Simple Torments ●●●●●
Gifted to Kuze no Oni upon his release, the Hyakki Kurabu is both his primary weapon and the badge of his office. It shows him as a servant of Lord Enma, holding all the authority that entails,-- respected by Kami, Deva, Shen, and even a few other Pantheon's that deal with the interconnected underworld managed by the overwatched Lord of the Underworld.
- Enhancement: +3 enhancement when acting on the authority given unto you by King Enma.
- Knack: The Bigger They Are..., spend 1 legend to gain +1 scale when engaged in combat against larger opponents. Only has to be imbued if acting on Orders.
- I might fiddle with this a bit more, but, good enough for government work for now. Pun Intended.
- Flaws: "So much Paperwork..." Once per story Kuze must do a favor for Enma or the bureau! (-2) (As per the guide condition Favor's Owed)

Akuma no Inoshishi, the Helboar ●●●
A massive boar from the depths of Jigoku, used in the crushing hell to haul stone.
Shika no Atama, Supervisory Demon ●●●●
Kuze's immediate superior and "parol officer," whose purpose is to keep Kuze on the straight and narrow-- assist him in his endeavors,- and ensure those endeavors are completed. Chief overseer of the hell of oath breakers, a demon with the head of a Deer Skull, kind of a everyman's demon. Not used to being out of hell; doesn't much like it.
- Asset Skills: Close Combat, Empathy
- Guide Stunt: A taste of your own medicine! Benefiting a demon of his position Shika has no end of tricks to suss out the guilty from the self loathing! Using this ability Kuze can too! A successful activation let's Kuze impose false wound penalties of a guilty conscience or something maybe!
