2008, Tianlong rampages with an unstoppable rage, setting the beast to attacking the City. The Shen attempt to subdue and calm the Tianlong, but eventually a Scion of Poseidon and his Band are forced to put the beast down. Arianna Moore's modeling career begins.
2009, Lanka is publicly revealed to the World in the aftermath of the Sir Lankan Civil War. The Deva soon prepare a massive assault, only to be turned back by protests and intercession by the Shen. There are some rumors that a third Demon Princess of Ravana fought on the side of the LTTE during the Civil War but she is never accounted for.
2011, Arianna Moore is raped by James Kirkpatrick in a rage, and kills him in self-defense, for which she goes on a short trial. She is, in the aftermath, recognized as a Scion,-- believed to be the Incarnate of Medusa,- the original Occupy Wallstreet occurs in and around Zuccotti Park.
2013, a relatively modest Occupy Wallstreet Anniversary March becomes something much more involved when an incarnation of Sun Wukong shows up and joins the protesters, resparking interest in the movement and making city officials considerably uncomfortable,- at the culmination of the event, Monkey carves a stone statue into a feminine variation of his own form that a small contingent of the protests begin to call Sun Jin.
2014, Another massive Occupy movement, kicked off with some help from Sun Jin, who assumes that this social protesting is why she was created. Police Backlash at this event somehow results in Jin's visitation, further complicating matters when the radical Monkey officially becomes a Scion. Arianna Moore's modeling career, already on the ropes, finally peters out entirely when a planned major effort is canceled when the Scion simply doesn't show up for the shoot.

2017, Protests and civil unrest follow the inauguration of Trump; rising trends of Fascism spark the Antifa movement which is joined by Sun Jin and some of her circle.
2018, Athena converts one of her "Cults", a Social Club with Political Overtones called the "Birds of Minerva", into a Mystery Cult. The Inner Circle is devoted to tending to Columbia and helping Athena find a cure - the "High Priestess's Daughter," Kara Lynn Dean, becomes Chosen of Athena and is keep strictly separated from all such activities and asked to begin gathering up a Band to deal with the rising threat to the city and find it's source.
