There are few amon the living as skilled in sending such sacrifices into the Underworld as the Abyssal Exalted, however, and such a ritual performed with the aid of this charm is especially magnificent in its somber beauty. The results are also quite impressive, with the Abyssals sacrifice being treated as one resource dot higher than its actual value. Resource 5 sacrifices produce 40 mote/4 willpower tokens. This charm can only be used with actual offerings, and does not work with paper replicas.

An Abyssal using this charm performs a quick death rite upon the recently deceased or the dead who lay restless, either whispering to them soft blasphemies to rouse them from their slumber or cooing to them in a song luring them into "eternal rest". A soft blasphemy ensures that the Lower Soul of the body will awaken maddened and angry, haunting the living world during the night and the underworld during the day. The gentle cooing ensures that the Lower Soul of the body will never again bother either living or dead, but instead slip away without protest into the Void. The Rite can only be performed on a number of bodies at once equal to the Abyssals Performance, and requires about one minute to perform.
