Telluric Energy is the liquid stuff of reality - it is not only the basic building block of all matter, but also of more esoteric things, such as ideas, relationships, and causation. All existence is made up of it, and dependant on its ebb and flow, but in moments, places and beings where it builds up and pools, strange, marvelous and dangerous things unavoidably result. All Talents and Talent-related phenomena gain their extraordinary abilities by gathering, storing and expending Telluric energies. Exalts, Spirits, Demons, the Dead, the Fair Folk and others channel Essence, an archaic term for undifferenciated Telluric energy or "Z-waves". Novas, Psions and Daredevils are slightly different, in that they each channel one of the three different Telluric wavelengths: Quantum, Psi and Inspiration, respectively.
