This spear's head is forged of Orichalcum, and bears an inscription in the sigils of the Atlantean alphabet [Low Realm] which reads "By the Eye All-Powerful, I was forged. With the might of Mara and all the Yozis, I was empowered. In the blood of Bagrash Köl, I was consecrated. I am the blade that cleaves the heavens, I am the spike which rakes the earth, I am the instrument of the Arcanist Ascendant, I am the Fang of Köl."
This weapon was created by Bagrash Köl after he came into posession of the Eye of Autochthon and gained sufficient understanding of it to utilize a fragment of its enourmous potential. He struck a deal with the Second Circle demon Mara to become a sorceror of unprecidented power; the Fang is the result of that deal. When a subject becomes the master of the spear (a line beginning with Bagrash Köl and including Julius Caesar and several other mythic and historical individuals) they are Exalted, as a powerful Sorcery-Aspected Essence-shard, long stolen from Lytek's cabinate, is infused into their being. This Exaltation is as irrevocable as any other, lasting until the owner's death (when not in use, the shard lies dormant within the spear itself).
The Fang of Köl has a will of its own, and that will is devoted to the Yozis who gave it power and purpose. When selecting a "master", the spear looks for corruptability; using the Fang's power towards righteous ends, and in particular against the forces of Malfeas, requires a tremendously powerful will.
The spear deals aggravated damage to all ⚠ <i>

status beings (Demons, Undead and Fair Folk). It also grants two bonuses to any spellcasting wielder:
-When casting spells, the spear's user still benefits from the weapon's speed bonus.
-Any spells cast by the owner of the spear have their cost(s) reduced by 5 motes, and the costs to activate the First, Second and Third Circle Sorcery Charms are reduced by 1 Willpower each.
