Aiden finds a disheveled and lunacy-stricken Jenny after a year and a half absence at Grand Circus Park. She smacks her and calls Mai to inform her that Jenny is not herself and to seek a place to take Jenny.
⚠ <p>
Aiden, Jenny, and Mai meet up at Moses s apartment. Jenny babbles about the dreams and other things. She is as we left her a year and a half ago, skin half burnt off, singed and falling off clothing, and she is very hungry. Aiden goes off to get Jenny a meal (which Jenny obliterates shortly thereafter) and Mai attempts to calm Jenny down but is unnerved herself as Jenny claims Mai's ghouls tortured her.
⚠ <p>
I will let Jenny get into more depth about her visions if indeed she writes in this wiki, but for now what was interesting to Mai was that it seemed Jenny had learned a new skill but did not yet understand how to use it without going insane. Also, it seemed to Mai that the visions were placed by Achadremenos to pull Jenny away from the rest of her coterie. Everyone one of us had a part to play except for JT, and none of our parts were pleasant. We were often seen hurting Jenny.
⚠ <p>
Mai took note of those whom Jenny had pleasant visions about. If indeed Achadremenos planted these visions and viewed some in Detroit favorably, Mai wanted to know who they were. Mai discovered Brandi (a brujah child of Louise), Louise, and some Tremere may have been viewed favorably.
⚠ <p>
Mai called JT to come calm Jenny down and as we began to discern that Jenny may have been tainted, we called Manfred. We also called Manfred because Jenny claimed that she burned all her blood and went to sleep just like MANFRED told her to.
⚠ <p>
Manfred arrived, did his thing, and discovered that Jenny had greater proportions of Achadremenos blood in her than before, and Mai informs Jenny of this.
⚠ <p>
Mai also tells Moses to bring home a change of clothes for Jenny (something she used to wear). When Moses arrives with the change of clothes, it appears to help snap Jenny back into reality. Jenny does still insist Randolf is in great danger and is going to sign some contract with Marcellus although he won't know it's Marcellus he's dealing with. When Jenny becomes aware of the date, she says it won't be tonight, though. Still, for a while, Jenny insists we find Randolf.
⚠ <p>
Mai calls Randolf and gets snubbed as usual. She leaves a voicemail message as she speaks to Jenny to reassure her: "See, Randolf is just fine. He's snubbing me as usual."
⚠ <p>
She gets a text message later "I'm fine - Randolf".
⚠ <p>
Mai informs Jenny that Randolf should not be interrupted as the ventrue clan is having a gathering, but that just makes Jenny insist we crash his party.
⚠ <p>
Mai suggests we go somewhere Jenny used to hang out so she can feel herself again, and goes into the kitchen to say goodbye to Moses.
⚠ <p>
Moses shows Mai the review .
⚠ <p>
Mai emerges from the kitchen asking Manfred to take us to his bookstore instead of the previous plan. Jenny gets all excited about this and calls shotgun.
⚠ <p>
At the bookstore, Mai informs the others of the book. Manfred apparently did not have it on order, so we have to look elsewhere.
⚠ <p>
JT, Manfred, and Jenny decide to try to find Irving. Randolf shows up, insisting that his party was "meh, fine" and that the book is unimportant. Still, he calls Kent Atwater about it, and agrees to go with Mai to the Borders headquarters and get our hands on a copy.
⚠ <p>
Mai also calls her sire , Winston Adonis about it, asking if he can get a copy prematurely.
⚠ <p>
he group splits up. Something happens in the sewers.
⚠ <p>
Mai out, yo.
⚠ <p>
Is this still the dreams, or has that now come to an end? It is so difficult to tell what is real, anymore.
But, I will try.
⚠ <p>
I will start at the begining. After leaving Mai's house, after recovering from the burns I had suffered, I decided
to go into hiding. I decided to enter Topor. I found an isolated location in Detroit, and following Manfred the Warlocks advice, managed to enter into the great sleep that only us Kindred are capable of. I then began to have visions of myself, floating around a very twisted version of Detroit... I will not bore you with what I saw, only that I had a vague sensation of being in Detroit, yet not...
⚠ <p>
Some how, I found my way back to what I can only describe as my imortal shell. I managed to return to it, and once again fell back into Topor. Yet, when I awoke, I knew something was wrong...
⚠ <p>
I was now in a cave, not the isolated location I had decided on for my experiment. Upon examing myself, I found I was now garbed in some unusual clothing. I exited the cave, and found myself in daylight, which I no longer feared nor felt any pain in. I saw a group of people near the cave, and as I moved closer, I realized there where 3 men on Crosses. I also recognized the man on the central cross...
⚠ <p>
As he turned to look at me, I was suddenly HIM, looking at ME, and a strange figure was hovering near ME. This man was obviously a Kindred. His skin was almost blindingly bright in the afternoon sun. He wore a Victorian era suit, all in black, and he had an amazing head of dark, dark hair.
⚠ <p>
This man turned to look at me, and as his eyes met mine, I felt a sharp pain in my neck, followed by the sensual pleasure of the Kiss. I tried to scream, but could utter no words. And, as the world darkened to my fading sight,
the strange man put his hand on MY shoulder, and I smiled...
⚠ <p>
What followed is almost beyond description. I found myself in a variety of dreams, or visions. Some where peaceful and pleasurable, but most of them where horrid and terrible beyond belief. I was Lincolns assasin. I killed Kennedy.
I was wittness to dozens and dozens of murders and assasinations of many people, of which only a few could I recognize. I was tortured by many Kindred I had known, and I faced horrors that even now my mind refuses to remember.
⚠ <p>
Yet, the strange man in Victorian garb was with me, not always, but often. In one dream, he was at the center of a full ball room. I was brought before him, and I bowed to him. I was then offered a cup, and told to drink. As I obeyed, the room errupted into laughter...
⚠ <p>
I began to believe the dream has ended, for now, when I found myself lying on a strange bed, with Mai and Adian hovering near me. I remember smelling a corpse on the floor, and when I asked them about it, they told me that I had done that. I remember JT arriving, which bolstered my belief that I truly was out of the dream, for I NEVER saw a Nos in any of my dreams. I realized also that for some reason I was dreadfully filthy, and excused myself from my companions company to take a shower.
⚠ <p>
A few minutes latter, I returned to my companions company, and began to relate to them what had happened. Then...
⚠ <p>
One of my tormentors entered the room. He raised his hands, and I could already smell my own burning flesh. I screamed, turned and dashed out a nearby window, only to have the Fiend use his Magic against me. I was pulled back inside by some Mystical force, me fighting the entire time, and...
⚠ <p>
I dont remember much what happened, but, this person was not a Fiend, but the Warlock Manfred. My companions gathered around me once more, and tried to get me to recount more of what I had seen, of which I am only able to remember a little of. It is at this time that I have this feeling that Randolph is in grave danger. I believe Mai tried to contact him, but got no answer. After learning what the date was, my fears for Randolph receed, as I realize that what is to happen will not happen for a few months, or even a few weeks yet.
⚠ <p>
We go to Manfreds bookstore.
⚠ <p>
I check to make sure that all the books on the shelves are mundane. While I search, Mai reveals that she has been shown something shocking by her Ghoul. (It can not be as shocking as what my Dreams had them do. Being connected to a wall socket by your nipples HURTS!) It seems that Irving has written a book about He Who Shall Not Be Named, useing his name as the title. This leads to mass speculation as to what it might mean, for us, the city, the world, etc.
⚠ <p>
Randolph arrives.
⚠ <p>
Now, I am not so certain any more that this is NOT the dream. Why would my companions be so fucking concerned about a BOOK? Do people even read these days? And, its not like there are enough books about Vampires already, although Anne Rice has that market pretty well covered...
⚠ <p>
Now, I say aloud, "Why not find Irving and ask him about this", which of corse leads to an argument that I dont take part in.
⚠ <p>
It is decided.
⚠ <p>
The High Clans, (whatever the hell that means. We are all Kindred after all), decide they are going to Borders minus Manfred. I'm not sure why. I guess they think they can find a book that is not up for sale for 3 weeks there. Or maybe they want to pre-order.
⚠ <p>
The Low Clans will hit the sewers and find Irving. For some reason, Warlock joins the Low Clans. He is a bookstore owner, and probably sees enough books already.
⚠ <p>
JT leads us Low Clanners, (and Warlock), on an Epic Time Consuming Journey, that eventually leads us to Irvings Mannor. The last thing I recall, is some one knocking on his door, and some female Nos opening the door...
