In the parking lot of the Detroit Club, Mai turns to see Aiden pluck a piece of paper off her dashboard and attempt to hide it. Mai demands and receives the piece of paper, though Aiden reluctantly gives it up (something to contemplate later).
⚠

Suspecting it was delivered by Nurse Spencer, Mai gets into her car and waits for Nurse Spencer to be out of her field of vision before she begins to read what appears to be an agreement between Marcellus and a party in Detroit.
⚠

Mai instantly suspects Randolf, who she calls. He says that he and JT are still filling barrels at the Buick Cadillac plant, so Mai heads there to confront him.
⚠

After some discussion with JT and Randolf about possible suspects who entered into this agreement and the possibility that the letter is a red herring, the group miraculously prioritizes for the first time in their unlives and decides that carrying out the plan to hide the tapestry and decoys is more important at the moment. Still, Mai insists the letter could be taken as incriminating evidence against the group if Marcellus does something masquerade breachy, and she burns the letter. Not before Randolf, however, snaps a picture of it.

They begin loading barrels into Mai's car and Randolfs truck. At some point during this, Jenny calls and informs Mai that there have been bodies falling from the sky and that she is at a site at this moment where there is an impression. She wants Mai to inform Manfred. Mai decides to do so as soon as the barrels get hidden.
⚠

The group sets about dropping the barrels into Detroit River at mile or so intervals, throughout which occassionally discussing what to do about the letter. By the time the barrels are taken care of, they have come to some sort of agreement that Mai should question Qasi and her sire, Winston, Randolf should question members of his clan, especially Winston.

Mai also receives another call from Jenny indicating Jenny has already met up with Manfred and that we should all meet a couple hours before sunrise this night.
⚠

Mai and Aiden go off to question Qasi (embarking in the 6 hour drive to Mai's home...). The interrogation is uneventful as Qasi's memories of a certain conversation are still quite locked up and Mai can get nothing from him about the conversation. Convinced that someone who is dominated to do something would not benefit from being dominated into NOT remembering what it is he was dominated to do, Mai decides Qasi is a lesser suspect in this.

The group had decided to regroup at the Omni because Jenny has information, and Mai has this letter she wishes to discuss. The group discusses bodies falling from the sky, the possibilities of the letter, and the fact that whatever happened in Romania has all the tremere around the world having regional meetings... very bad indeed, though Mai can't figure out why. Jenny also relates in regards to the bodies falling from the sky that Tom gave her the address (Jenny was looking for Zeffon (sp?), a woman with a shock of white hair has been following her, AND the cab driver apparently was told by dispatch to pick someone up at Jenny's location before Jenny even called a cab to get back.
⚠

The group decides to do the following:
⚠

In regards to the letter: Not a high priority (though perhaps a personal high priority for Mai). Mai asks the group to let her know if they come into any information that could be a clue as to who the agreement was made with, and what the address is that the collateral can be found at.
⚠

In regards to the bodies from the sky: The group decides to go together to the address Jenny was at earlier and do some more investigation, and also visit the Hamtramck address and investigate there too.
⚠

Randolf and Manfred indicate that they have some research as well which must soon become priority number one for them at least if they are ever to get done.
⚠

Manfred also indicates that he would like it if we met before court and agreed an an even more cohesive appearance or strategy before political meetings. Mai checks her calendar, noting there are none for the next night.
⚠

We sleep at the Omni.
