Detroit By Night

Introduction

How to use this Wiki

Detroit by Night is not a book. It is a running database, and you are its contributors. Much like running
the game itself, the storyteller’s job is to set up the basic structure and provide some background, and
the rest is up to you. These pages will only be as complete, accurate and useful as you make them.

Nothing written here is set in stone. Absolutely everything is subject to change slightly or completely
based on what is discovered or created during play. The history section is the least malleable part, but
what is commonly thought of to be true might be a lie, and further details can always be uncovered.

The Introduction, Theme and Mood sections are here to put a face on the fictional city of Detroit as it
is presented in the Vampire: the Masquerade game of Eyes That Burn.

How to Use this Wiki tells you that all this is yours to build and use as you will, if you haven’t been able
to figure it out yourself.

Influences will hopefully grow into an Eyes That Burn bibliography, filmography and discography.

History is divided into two main parts: a brief outline of mortal history, and a chronological timeline for
the Eyes That Burn’s World of Darkness.

Geography is organized by modern district and provides a rundown of commonly known facts about
various locations, from a vampire’s point of view. If something is listed here, assume you’ve heard about
it, or would get about this much information if you were to ask.

Inhabitants is organized by profession or role for mortals, and by sect and clan for vampires.

Politics contains information on the ever-changing realm of vampire relations.

Made in Detroit is a small collection of the character-created musings, poetry and correspondance that
you have come across.

Odds and Ends is a list of unusual items that have cropped up from time to time.

More sections may be added at a later time, but right now we have plenty of empty entries to fill already.
