So, Murgatroyd has been pretending to be the Old Prince. For how long? For what purpose? Was there ever an actual Archimedes? So many questions, so little time!

mai says:

Ok, I'll actually recap.

I meet up with the rest of the gang at Pages, and we are all summoned to see the prince. My sire warns me to be careful. The prince wants the deputies to investigate an event which ended in the demise of his most prized ghoul. He also sends Strauss with us, who we find shredding the book.

Also, my sire has advised me the book has resurfaced and there is loose talk about. I ask him to let me know more if he knows where it has resurfaced.

Off we go to said place and dun dun dun! Trenton is there, that little bitch. Er, jerk. I follow Trenton around for a bit hoping to learn something but my other fellows intervene and Trenton begins to try to excuse himself. He says his ghoul was present here also. We suspect something more, given he is trying to flee the scene once he realizes local authorities are investigating, so we threaten him a bit with our madd powerz and he is fairly cooperative.

Mai is called inside to touch some stuff and get impressions, and I do so. In the attic there is a meditation type area with a mat and a place to hold a sword. The sword holder gives little impression but the mat gives the impression of a dragon. Mai asks the deputies about the one they saw earlier this night who made a ruckus at the blood fight, and then asks Manfred about the Dragon dragon. He thinks it is not the same thing, but they do think it is the same person they saw the other night.

Oh and we find the ghoul and he has begun to grow odd appendages.

We take Trenton with us to the Prince. There's an angry mob there with license plates from Ohio even though Trenton swears he doesn't know these poeple (what ev'). The deputies go in to see the Prince, but Mai is left with our prisoner in the hall as a delirium storm starts up. Mai gives Trenton some encouragement (or tries to) but when the Bishop approaches looking all fire and brimstone Mai's resolve begins to crumble. The bishop touches Mai and Trenton upon our heads and tells us we shouldn't be there along with some other choice words. Turns out the Bishop is not all knowing, given our prisoner should very well be there.

Once the storm ends, Mai and Trenton attempt to leave, but the elevator goes stops mid descent and wisks us back up to the Bishop who takes his prisoner. Mai smiles sweetly and says she's sorry... and then rushes the heck out of there.
