This philosopher, warrior and former king is a childe
of Troile himself. He was known to believe in a peaceful
society where all mortals and Kindred could co-exist.
But he rarely stayed in Carthage, because he frequently
traveled looking for allies against Rome. That is
probably why he wasn't present when Carthage was destroyed.
In a letter to a Cappadocian scholar many years later,
Meneleus claimed not to blame the Ventrue for his
homeland's downfall. Instead he pointed to a Toreador
named Helena, who lived in Carthage for a time and
then revealed its secrets to the patrons of Rome.
