Eyes That Burn

Jenny

⚠
As Jenny looks out of Aidens window, the shadows around her seem to dance of there own accord. Jenny turns to Aiden and tells her that something must be done before the Old Malk has his way with us all. Jenny suggests returning to the Portal and trying to rescue those left within. Aiden agrees. Jenny then calls Manfred and Randolph, and we all agree to meet at Randolphs warehouse.

⚠
Once we all arrive, Manfred starts what Randolph calls "the bads things" lecture, but stops and listens to what Jenny has to say. After Jenny keeps repeating the same argument, that those Kindred left inside the portal should be rescued, Manfred and Randolph reluctantly agree to at least see what might happen.

⚠
We arrive at the location where the portal is at, and see that it is once again undisturbed, with Graffiti and garbage strewn throughout the Ball room. Jenny clears a 7 foot section of the room, and begins to apply her Vitae to the floor. Nothing happens. After a lot of nothing happeneing, Jenny steps out of her body. She goes to the roof, to examine the unatural storm occuring over the city. She discovers between lighting flashes that a Chessboard like grid has been laid over the city. (Jenny still has moments where the shadows around her seem to come alive.) We all decide to leave and try to find the center of the storm. Manfred notices Jenny is carrying the Grey Queen Strauss had given her, and we decide to go back to the portal and see what this chess piece may have to do with it.

⚠
Shortly after we get back and begin experimenting with the Grey Queen, Randolph has the idea to create a chessboard on the floor with Jennys Vitae. Jenny creates a "blood-board", and the group makes chess pieces with whatever we can scrounge up. But, only one Queen, placed in the center of the board and played by me in place of a player.

⚠
Into the game, Manfred begins to notice magical activity in the room as each peice is moved. Jenny decides to help Manfred, and Randolph defeates the Queen. Suddenly, there is a hole in the floor where the "blood-board" was!

⚠
Jenny some how wiggles thru the board, and finds herself in another reality that is dominated by a large clockwork device. Mansfred comes down, and together they look around the strange large device. Jenny has an idea. As Manfred leaves, Jenny notices that there are several cogs that seem to slide into the machine, apparently to change its operation. So, she moves a random cog into the machine.

⚠
There is a loud CLUNK, and the machine is no longer working correctly. In fact it is now grinding and smoking! Manfred wisely decides it is time to leave, but as he is about to pull Jenny back to safty, she asks him to wait one moment. She goes back to the cogs, and this time shoves SEVERAL randome ones into the broken machine.

⚠
Jenny now finds her self alone, before a basin in a clear, white room that is vaguely familiar. She looks into the dark water of the basin, and sees everyone else back by the portal. She puts her hand into the water, and the image dissappears. She then drops some of her Vitae into the water, with no result, other than... She hears footsteps from within the room.

⚠
Jon Areson approaches Jenny, and she realizes she is in the Tremere Chantry on Bel Island. Erison asks her why she is here, and she asks him the same thing. Areson moves to the basin, and Jenny bravely trys to shove him into it. The basin is overturned, and Areson is MAD! Shadows and tenicules now surround Jenny as she tells Erison, "Guess I'm just stubborn." Erison begins to cast a fire spell, and Jenny decides that this visit to the Tremere chantry is over. She runs to the exit, pounds her way thru a stone wall, and enters a desert. As she runs away, the building collapses.

⚠
Jenny finds her companions here in the Desert, and they decide to try and find this locations version of Fort Detroit. As they walk, they come across a Vivoide smeared across 2 acres, that slowly gives them chase. They find Saturns Harley in a crater. Finally, they find a "fortress" that resembles the Ren Center.

⚠
We leave the "thing" out side the gate, and go to the top of the Centeral tower. We find Rycroft on an elaborate throne with an elaborate crown on his head, and a Black rose in his hand. He tells us some stuff, then, we hear many feet on the stone stairs up. Rycroft informs us that "the Sabbot are invading",(again), so while everyone else moves to the balcony, Jenny grabs Rycroft and throws him off the balcony before she and everyone jumps out...
