Aiden:

There are things about this damn city that I just hate. Lucky for me, I get to relive them over and over again. Best laid plans, eh? So in some effort to claim back my Justice, I spent an uneasy night in the dirt of Grand Circus Park - with JT, I might add. Oddly enough, we were unsuccessful and this did not throw me. Since when do things go as planned - and planning to meet out in sunlight is never good for me and now, I assume this was another tricky scheme.

I managed to meet up with the ever-so-bitter Randolph at an apartment by the park. Hanna Chantel?'s apartment where, due to his '7e3te h4x0r sk1lz, we gain some contact info for whomever was actually running the show. Web cameras. Tech shit - [email protected]. With an address like that I figured it had to either be a twelve year old goth chick with a delirium complex or else, Nurse Spencer. We followed the instructions left in the "Deliver Hostage" email and ended up traveling to the Wayne Country Training School in the northwest. Joy.

Manfred decided to join us there out of sheer boredom - those Tremere sure do party like it is 1792 - and we proceeded to storm the castle. It wasn't too hard to find them and I held my temper in check and let the other take care of the technical bits. Unstaking Justice and learning of the doings was most enlightening. My mates refused to let me kill the humans - both of them were worthless and enslaved by someone. This will come back to haunt me - but I should have just killed them.

Jumping through hoops and IP addresses leads us to a house. We take the house by surprise and being it has no natural defenses, we mange to subdue it. Inside we find a happy couple - Nurse Spencer (told you so) and Usuri DeSeversky. Damn. Didn't expect her.

Mai:

I accompanied Jen to South Bend to deliver Alicia's message. The trip there was uneventful and we drove around the city for a while until we smelled a stench and noticed a girl watching us from a park bench. We said hello and she introduced herself as our escort.

She took us to the university where it appeared court was being held. My first impression was the Keeper did a fine job, but that soon changed. We met our contact and handed over the message. He asked Jen what she thought of it and Jen foolishly offered an opinion, thereby proving she had read the letter. No matter... it turns out we had arrived just in the nick of time as soon as gang arrived and was pounding on the doors to be let in, protesting handing the city over to Maximo (!!!!).

Mai and Jen tried to slip out but it was too late and it took us some time before someone other than us could break a window so we could escape. As we ran across the lawn, our pursuers were attacked and we smelled the stench again. Maybe this Rachel took her protector job a bit seriously. In Mai's car, Rachel met up with us and advised that it was not safe to leave. She led us to a church where she had been staying and told us we could spend the night there.

Jen of course couldn't resist exploring and sent her mind off elsewhere to have a look at the procedings, leaving her body in the ever so capable protection of Mai.
