The Changing Moon are renowned masters of the tall tale and the masterful deception, such being only expected among the Chosen of a Goddess of Mystery and Deceit. A Lunar with this charm can best even the greatest mortal lies, approaching the duplicity of the Gods. Every mote spent activating this charm converts one die of a Manipulation roll into an automatic success. The roll must involve duplicity, deceit or the telling of lies for that is the magic of this charm, and the Lunar cannot spend more motes activating this charm than his Manipulation. Whatever dice are left over in the pool are rolled normally, and penalities to the pool are subtracted from this pool first.
Truth from Falsehood

One of the Lunar Exalted who masters this charm comes to intimately understand the balance between truth and falsehood, and the ways in which each weaves into the other, through his relationship with the Shifting Lady. The Lunar gains one automatic success on any roll to detect dishonesty or deception, and can always tell when he is under supernatural scrutiny to discern truth or falsehood. When under such an effect, the Lunar can choose to reflexively spend one willpower to have a false statement instead register as true. Some extremely powerful Solar Exalted can see through the obfuscation of this charm, but anyone else accepts the Lunars words as true unless convinced otherwise.
A Lunar with this charm is considered to have an Essence rating one higher for the purpose of seeing through the Glamours of the Raksha and on any Willpower + Essence rolls to resist shaping damage effects. However, a Lunar cannot use this charm to lie to a Raksha.
