Risen Solar Behemoth

Adamant Circle spell

Cost: 10+ motes (commited)
Duration: One hour (extendable)
Target: Caster

After the last word of this minute long ritual is completed, the Solar's Castemark splits open into a shaft of pure golden light and her anima quickly roars out around her. The swirling golden essence picks the Sorcerer up, suspending her some 20 feet into the sky and slowly taking solid shape around her. By the end of the turn, the character is not even clearly visible, her essence forming a opaque cocoon in the rough shape of a massive titan. The spell fully completes by her next action after completing the casting of the spell, by which time the Solar finds herself hooked into and fully attuned to a personalized Royal Warstrider. These Warstriders, sometimes called Soulstriders, are usually in a massive humanoid shape based upon the characters totemic anima (if appropriate).

In addition to the Soulstrider itself, the Solar may summon any warstrider arms or artifacts he desires. Each artifact adds its commitment cost to the total cost of the spell, commited as usual. Some Solars using this charm have been known to manifest artifacts that are otherwise unknown to Creation, only possible through the aegis of this spell. Most Solars, however, simply manifest "mundane" weapons such as Warstrider Grand Daiklaves (18 motes) or an arm-mounted Chain Dagger (2 motes). Any necessary Hearthstones are automatically socketed as necessary, but if the Solar lacks appropriate stones he can create a substitute stone for (3 motes per necessary level). The sorcerer cannot choose to create unnecessary stones, and these stones do nothing except power the warstrider and any weapons.

The Warstrider summoned with this spell lasts one hour, but the Sorcerer can extend this duration for another hour by spending half of the cost to cast the spell. The Sorcerer can also end this spell at any time, cancelling his commitment and gently setting himself to the ground at the end of the turn as the Warstrider dissolves back into the Essence of the world. Any injuries suffered while using this spell must be healed normally.
