When making a dodge enhanced by this charm, the Exalt doesn't just flit away from his opponents, he bounds off like a mad firecracker rolling away from his opponent. The Dragon-Blooded may leap up to his (Dexterity + 12) yards along with a dodge action, provided he gets at least a single success on the dodge roll. This movement can take the Dragon-Blooded to anywhere within range of the leap, or the Exalt can leap vertically for half that distance. This leap is considered a hopping defense and cannot be enhanced with jump-enhancing charms or effects. This charm can break multiple attacks unless the attacker can follow the Exalt.

Other Charms

  • Threshold Warding Stance: This charm's duration is changed to One Turn. While this charm is active, the Dragon-Blooded ignores all penalities from immobilization, poor footing, or the mobility penality of armor. See Dragon-Blooded, Page 205.
  • Flickering Candle Meditation: The dice adder cap for this charm is raised to Dodge + Essence, along with appropriate specialities. This is a specific exception, and only applies to this charm. The Exalt can add that many dice to a dodge action, or create a dodge action from 0 dice, for 1 mote per two dice. See Dragon-Blooded, Page 205.
  • Safety Among Enemies: The Dexterity + Dodge roll for this charm does not add the characters Essence, but it does add any appropriate specialities. See Dragon-Blooded, Page 206.
