- Danny, Leo and Clinton gathered in Clinton's basement, ready to explore the tunnel.

- They descended into the tunnel, finding that it connected to the abandoned subway system after about an hour of walking.

- In the subway tunnels, Danny found traces of a dark liquid scattered on the ground.

- Following the splatters of dark liquid, Danny lead the group to a hidden tunnel that went even further underground.

- The tunnel looped back on itself, eventually becoming extremely steep and descending into the bedrock.

- The tunnel opened into a system of natural caves, where the group decided to split up.
⚠ </br>
- Clinton headed back to the surface, sprinting at full speed, to retrieve dynamite in case it was needed.

- Once he entered the subway tunnels, he was intercepted by three strange creatures.
⚠ </br>
- The creatures were able to converse intelligently in English, and expressed an interest in secrets.
⚠ </br>
- Clinton told them about Dr. West and Mr. Whateley searching for an artifact, and Dr. Kirk's madness and her poem.

- At the urging of the creatures, he recited the poem Dr. Kirk had given to the group.
⚠ </br>
- In exchange for the poem, the creatures agreed to return after consulting 'the bones' and tell him something he 'needed to know.'
⚠ </br>
- They left him alone in the subway tunnels to wait for their return.
⚠ </br>
- Danny and Leo remained behind in the cave, with Danny using his abilities to hide from sight.
⚠ </br>
- While hiding, the two began to hear scuttling noises of claws moving on the stone.
⚠ </br>
- The noises grew louder and more numerous, coming from all sides.
⚠ </br>
- The two decided to flee, moving as fast as they safely could back up the tunnel to the subway.

- Glowing eyes pursued Leo as he fell behind Danny.

- Once they were close to the subway tunnel, the pursuit stopped, leaving the two alone to continue.

- Once they reconvened in the subway tunnels, Clinton related the story of his meeting with the three creatures.

- Leo and Danny became suspicious, so they told Clinton they were going back to his house to get more weapons.
⚠ </br>
- Danny remained behind, hidden with Obfuscate, to spy on Clinton.
⚠ </br>
- The creature in the Winter Scarf returned, and delivered a message from 'the bones' that told Clinton to visit the 'protected house'.

- There is something waiting at the house that wants to speak to Clinton.
⚠ </br>
- The thing at the house can answer all Clinton's questions.
⚠ </br>
- After meeting with the creature in the Winter Scarf, Clinton headed back up to his home.
⚠ </br>
- Danny revealed himself, and warned that he didn't trust the creature, having seen an ominous vision when he looked at its soul.

- Danny, Clinton and Leo debated the best course of action once they all made it back to Clinton's basement.
⚠ </br>
- The rest of the night was spent blocking up the tunnel in Clinton's basement.
