Unlike their predecessors, Ladon's are occasionally known for the odd Mental Instability, as a result of the tinkering with the sleep-regulating structures in the brain. Many individual Ladon's never manifest any kind of problem, but for those that do, both Obsession's and Phobia's are equally common and other problems are not at all unknown.

Ladon's are attractive examples of humanity, their appearance showing a general appearance of good health and strong genes. [4]
Doesn't Sleep
Due to extensive, sometimes mentally detrimental, tinkering in the Brain -- Ladon Parahumans don't need to sleep. How they use the extra time varies. [20]
Extended Lifespan 1 + Longevity
Though they mature at the same rate as most humans, reaching Maturity at 18, once they mature a Ladon can live a very very long time. This is due to the many modifications made to their bodies, such as a redesigned heart, arteries and spleen and many alterations to the cell structure itself to reduce cumulative copying errors. In general, they start making age rolls at 100, one every two years, then make a roll every year once they hit 140 and finally a roll every six months at 180 years! In addition, they only fail an aging roll on a roll of 17 or 18. If their HT is 17 or higher, they only fail on an 18! [4]
Resistance to Disease (+8)
Ladon's don't just live a long time, though, they also guard that long life vigorously against the microbes and parasites that might try to take it away. They gain a +8 to any HT roll to resist or overcome a disease. [5]
Perk: Reproductive Control
Female Ladon's can control their fertility, with adjusted hormones taking about a day to change their fertility. Males don't have quite as much control as females, but can at least forgo birth control and not worry much about illegitimate offspring. [1]
Perk: Sanitized Metabolism
You're totally clean. Your body produces minimal, sanitized waste products and you never suffer from bad breath, excessive perspiration, or unsightly skin problems. This gives -1 to attempts to track you by scent and +1 to reaction rolls in close confines. [1]
