Shamus was confirmed to be involved in the conspiracy and distribution of the Blood Disease. However, it appears that Shamus was far too blatant about his actions on several occasions and had many elder Kindred upset with his movements.
JT Wright once staked and protected Shamus for several nights while waiting (to protect the tarnished Ventrue image in Detroit) and per the desires of many other Kindred. However, Jenny Olsen, wanted to speak with Shamus about her/his past and JT released him.
