Renown is by far one of the weaker of the Backgrounds available to Lunars, and so I decided to beef it up a bit, with the possibility of assuming some real power.

| x | You have not made much of a reputation for yourself just yet, and are not known to most of the Lunars of the Silver Pact. You have 20 points of Renown total. |
| o | You have begun to gain a reputation, and are known by most of the Lunars in your region, with a number of impressive deeds to your name. You have 30 points of Renown total. |
| oo | You are a full member of the Lunar Society, your reputation having at least reached most of the Lunars in your direction. You've accomplished a number of deeds and begun to make a legend for yourself among the Beloved of Luna. You have 50 points of Renown total. |
| ooo | You are regarded as particularly worthy among the Lunars of your age, and have likely earned the attention of some of the Elders of the Silver Pact. There are few Lunar Packs that do not know something of you, and your deeds are often mentioned in Tlaks even far from your stomping grounds. You have 75 points of renown total. |
| oooo | You have achieved great things, truly marking yourself as a hero among the Beloved of Lunar, and the tales of your feats and deeds stretch throughout Creation. Your words are respected by your Elders, the Barbarian people herald you as a God, and the people of the Threshold whisper frightened tales of your might. You have 100 points of Renown total. |
| ooooo | You are one of the brightest stars of your people, having nearly as much respect as some of the greatest war-leaders of your people. Indeed, it will not be long before you have yourself ascended to such heights, assuming you can master your body sufficiently to meet the harsh approval of the No Moons. Every Lunar knows of you, and you are a great terror who has undoubtedly attracted the attention of the Wyld Hunt even from your position on the edge of Civilization. You have 125 points of renown total. |
Renown and Face A Lunar's renown rating has a large influence on his face, making him more respected among the Lunars of the Silver Pact and more a part of the larger Lunar culture. A rough overview of this follows.
| Renown | Face Rating, and Notes |
| 0 | You are one of The Kin, and have a Face of 1. Other Lunars regard you as a Lunar, but you are generally not thought as having proved yourself yet. This level of renown is somewhat uncommon, and usually occurs among those that rejected the Silver Pact. |
| 1 | You are one of "The Kin", and have a Face of 1. This is a not uncommon level of Renown for young Lunars who have not yet found their place, or who are somewhat unsure about the Silver Pact or their place in Lunar Society. |
| 2 | You are one of "The Kin", and have a Face of 2. This level is fairly common among Lunars who join the Silver Pact, and means that you have been fully initiated into Lunar Society, and are a respected member of your people. Those less renowned than you look up to you, and you have proven yourself to your peers. |
| 3 | You are one of "The Honored", and have a Face of 3. This is a somewhat uncommon level of achievement for young Lunars, but becomes increasingly common as a Lunar grows more fully into his power. You've proven yourself in single combat against a foe your equal in combat, and are looked up to by most of the Kin. |
| 4 | You are one of "The Honored", and have a Face of 4. This is a very uncommon level of achievement and usually found only those who are both devoted to the ideals of the Silver Pact and particularly impressive in their deeds. You've attracted the attention of the movers and shakers of the pact. |
| 5 | You are one of "the Honored", and have a Face of 4, but are on the very cusp of becoming a true hero and war leader of the Silver Pact. Once you earn another 25 points of Renown and raise all your Attributes to at least 3, you will be one of "the Respected" and be a true hero among the Lunars. |
