The Fair Folk

The Princes of the Wyld - Fair Folk Nobles

  • Lalliaria, the Dune Maiden: One of the Legendary Fae of the South, Lalliaria has wandered the lands of the South since the End of the Great Contagion and is well-known to all of the Barbarian's of the Deep South. Usually the first that any hears of her is her beautiful and enchanting voice, which is said to be so perfect that it is painful to hear. Achingly beautiful and with a consuming fiery soul, the Dune Maiden has claimed more than a few youthful caravan guards or barbarian riders over the years. Many of her conquests linger on the dunes seeking out her voice again, until they eventually waste away to nothing.
  • Lord Cassan: The Prince of a powerful Freehold in the Middlemarches of the South, Lord Cassan's Ruby Palace has been a myth and a legend in the South for ages. There was a time long ago when the Faerie Prince was more active in the South, and at least one kingdom was scourged from the deserts by his armies. After a particularly biting assault by the Defenses of the Realm, however, Lord Cassan retreated back to his Palace and has not been seen in Creation ever since. Part of this, however, might be due to the fact that not long after that defeat the Guild set up a regular trade route with the Ruby Palace...

Lesser Wyldlings - Fair Folk Commoners

  • Oasis Brides: These Fair Folk Entertainers were fairly common in the South immediately after the Great Contagion, but have since either been scourged by heroes and Exalts or gathered up into the Courts by Raksha Nobles. Others have left their scattered homes throughout the South, finding freedom and privledge in the various cities of the South, often serving as prostitutes or entertainers. An exotic (and dangerous) luxury indeed! Nonetheless, these beautiful she-fae still lurk in a few isolated watering holes, preying on those mortals that wander into their homes.
