Stuff here for the moment is primarily my notes for what I plan to do with it; it'll get replaced with a proper write up as I go through the list.

Honor bound to defend the Empire, Phaedymites are creatures of mystery to many Romans; it is within the memory of many elder Cainites the time when they first arrived, quite a different reaction when compared to other clans, where "they've always been here" is the common responce. Supposedly hailing from a land far to the east, sent away for their pursuit of honor and greatness, the Phaedymites have pledged their swords and souls to defending the Triumvirate and their lands. Each possesses a strong sense of personal honor, though some capricious will within them strives to force them into breaking it; their struggles are often considered deeply heroic, and more than one has marched into the sun after shaming himself.

Sobquiet: Paladins

Clan Disciplines: Animalism, Chimerstry, Fortitude (A note on Chimerstry: Most vampires in the Roman era consider it to be some form of conjuration or sorcery, rather than illusion; even many Phaedymites think it is so. Thus, disbelief is far rarer in this time period than in later ones)

Clan Weakness: Each Phaedymite has a code of honor drilled into him by his sire; however, the Beast within them strives to force them into violating that code, and will nudge them in that direction whenever possible. Any time an opportunity occurs for the Phaedymite to violate his Code of Honor, the storyteller may ask for a Self-Control roll at difficulty 6 (or higher, depending on the severeity). On failure, the Paladin will violate his ethics.

Faction Affiliation: Imperials
