Ravening

The ability to command the Beast Within.

Level 1 - Predator's Communication

Sense nearby Beasts and their strengths.⚠ </br>

System: Spend a BP to mystically sense other Beasts in the vicinity (other vampires, Changing Breeds with Rage, Wraiths and Spectres, predatory animals, and humans with Road scores of 3 or less). Successful detection manifests as smell; the character may "sniff out" the Beast with a Perception + Survival roll (difficulty 6; modified if the Beast is particularly strong or weak). The power remains active for a scene.

Level 3 - Quell the Beast

Pacify mortal animals and humans by forcing their inner Beast to submit to yours.⚠ </br>

System: Engage in an extended Manipulation + Intimidation or Empathy roll (difficulty 7). You need (your target's Willpower) successes to cow them. If you fail a roll, you must start over. If you botch, the target is immune for the scene. Soothed mortals can't spend Willpower and refuse to struggle or defend themselves if attacked. If their life is in danger, they make a Willpower roll to break free. Each day, the subject rolls Willpower; they break free of the effect when they have successes equal to your Willpower.
This power can be used to help end a Frenzy for another vampire. If you score at least 3 successes, they can make a normal check to end the Frenzy.

Level 3 - Whistling up the Beast

Induce fear in others, or Frenzy in yourself. -- NEEDS A BUFF⚠ </br>

System: Roll Manipulation + Performance roll (diff 7). If the roll succeeds, the target resists with a Courage roll (diff 7; victim must equal or beat your successes). Even if the victim's roll succeeds, she is uneasy (one-die penalty to all Dice Pools against you; difficulty of Frenzy and Rotschreck rolls is reduced by one). If the victim's roll fails, she must retreat for the duration of the scene - not necessarily mindless flight, but the wary retreat of an animal that realizes it has met a superior foe. A botch causes catatonic fear

Alternatively, the vampire may "whistle up" his own Beast; a successful roll immediately sends him into Frenzy (negating wound penalties).

Level 5 - Drawing Out the Beast

Temporarily remove your Beast from your own body, placing it in another body. The target of this power is instantly put into a Frenzy, where they will act something like you would.⚠ </br>

System: Pick a target that you can see, then roll Manipulation + Self-Control (difficulty 8). If you fail, you automatically Frenzy for twice as long as normal. If you Botch, you can't even use Willpower to end your Frenzy and it is especially severe. The character hosting your Beast must remain in your presence; if they escape your vicinity then you lose touch with your Beast. Without a Beast, you are immune to Frenzy, but unable to regain Willpower. To regain your Beast, track down the body that has it and either convince it to return or kill the body.
