Touch of the Reaper

Level 1 - March of Ages

Alter your apparent physical age, gaining or losing years in moments.

System: Spend 1BP and roll Stamina + Medicine (difficulty 6). Each success allows you to gain or lose 7 years of apparent age for the rest of the night. Your appearance will return to normal once you sleep for the day. Extreme use of this power (aging beyond human lifespans) may reduce your Appearance to 0, making non-threatening social interaction difficult, but reducing the difficulty of intimidation by 1 under certain circumstances.

Level 2 - Measure of Lachesis

Cause others to age with a touch, shriveling their skin and weakening their bodies.

System: Touch your target (requires a Dexterity + Brawl roll attack combat, difficulty 6, dealing no damage), then spend 1 BP and roll Stamina + Medicine (difficulty of your target's Stamina + Fortitude + 3). Success inflicts 1 health level of Lethal damage and reduces the target's Appearance by 1. Vampires regenerate the Appearance loss after a night's rest, but it is permanent for mortals. If a mortal is affected by this power three or more times in a night, they will being to rot and require medical treatment to survive.

Level 3 - Escape Death's Grasp

This power allows you to awaken yourself, or others, from Torpor. Even mortals in comas or similar states can be awakened for a short time.

System: To raise yourself from Torpor, spend 1 Willpower and make a Willpower roll (difficulty 7). If successful, you awaken normally. If you were driven into Torpor by damage, you automatically heal your least-harmful Health Level of damage, spending any necessary blood if possible. If you were starved into Torpor, you awaken with one blood point. To raise another vampire from Torpor, you must touch them, then spend 1 Blood Point and 1 Willpower. The power then functions the same as if you were awakening yourself. If you are attempting to awaken a mortal from a vegetative state, use the same cost for awakening another vampire. Each success on the awakening roll grants mortals one week of wakefulness before any medical conditions responsible for their coma will return normally.

Level 4 - Touch of Thanatos

Infect others with deadly power, driving them into a supernatural coma that can be fatal to mortals.

System: Touch your victim, spend 1 BP and 1 Willpower, then roll Stamina + Occult (difficulty equal to the target's Willpower). Supernatural victims can make a resist roll with their Stamina + Self-Control (difficulty equal to the user's Willpower). If you are successful, or get more successes than the victim on the contested roll, the target will fall into a Torpor-like state after exactly 24 hours. This state lasts for one night per success on the activation roll. Mortal victims are incapacitated for one week per success, instead.

Level 5 - Dust to Dust

Decay into a heap of ashes, approximately a cubic foot in size. While in this form you are virtually immune to damage, but your mobility is almost non-existent and your use of Disciplines is extremely limited. The ashen form can serve as a helpful refuge from the daylight, since it is immune to sunlight.

System: Spend 2BP to begin the transformation, which takes a full turn. Reforming is free, but also requires a full turn. Any attempt to separate the pile of ashes must defeat your Stamina + Fortitude roll. Environmental effect such as wind are unlikely to scatter your mass. If you are scattered by some means, you will take 1 Aggravated damage for every 1/10th of your dust removed from the largest remaining mass. Any dust removed from the main mass becomes inert material once more than a foot away. You may move, but only by creeping along the ground at a rate of one foot every three turns. In this form, physical attacks and sunlight have no effect on you, but the daytime still drives you into slumber. You remain vulnerable to magical attacks, fire and True Faith. You have a rudimentary sense of what is going on around you, but all Perception rolls are at +2 difficulty. Disciplines may be used, but only those that make sense for a non-verbal pile of dust to employ.
