Buhl Building
The 1925 Buhl building feels like a church, a temple of commerce with the dark, enclosed, rich
effect of heavy medieval masonry and Romanesque decorative embellishments. The marble lobby
with its somber Italian bronze statues is a complementary setting for the dark, richly decorated
Buhl Café and Bar and the elegant corner cafeteria Quattro Punti. Many of its offices are currently
open for lease, making it a convenient place for the Ventrue to meet and manage their affairs.
The Buhl has been a popular location to host Elysium since it was built. The ecclesiastical decor
lends itself to serious discussions without creating the sort of tensions a real church would bring.
